It’s always interesting getting a look behind the scenes of what actually goes into producing BMX bikes, frames and parts. Rich Hirsch just uploaded this Vlog style video giving us a look into some of the new Stranger and Primo products, a behind the scenes look at their testing facility and more over in Taiwan. We normally don’t get to see this side of products, even though it’s a huge part of the process between a product idea and the bike you have to roll around on. Take a peek!
Raul Jula Fiend Video Bike Check
TBB Bike dropped this short but sweet video featuring Raul Jula and his brand new Fiend Reynolds V2 setup that he’s rolling around on. This video doesn’t have a parts list or anything, but it’s damn clean with the film work and there’s some riding mixed in from the parking garage session to show you how Raul gets down on the bike. This looks like a dialed BMX bike to us! Check it!
“Last year we have introduced our European version of our shop and hand by hand our new team rider Raul Jula as our Romanian connection. We cannot be more happy with this collaboration because Raul is not just a good rider but also very innovative guy who always pushes his boundaries and not just riding-wise but also in many different aspects of BMX. With this attitude his bike-check couldn’t end up differently than as a masterpiece.” – TBB Bike
Youth of Today – Justin Hughes
Here’s a fresh one featuring the grind technician known as Justin Hughes going to work on street spots around Montreal courtesy of DIG. Justin goes to work on every ledge and rail he came across mixiing lines with grinds, crnakflips, freecoaster action, barspins and more. Take a look!
“Justin Hughes has been in the Montreal scene for what feels like forever so you can quickly forget just how young he actually is. Dubbed as Dillon Lloyd’s protégé in his earliest years of riding – he’s definitely moved well beyond being Dillon’s wingman into the tech street shredder that he is today. Of the younger generation of Montreal riders, no one knows the streets better than Hughes does. With a big year in the works, it’s fitting he starts it off with this DIG Youth of Today piece” – Jeremy Deme

Insane BMX Basketball Trick Shot
This ain’t clickbait… This BMX Basketball Trick Shot is actually insane!
5050 Skatepark has seen it’s fair share of crazy things go down in the building from riding to random stuff that just happens at the place. We just had a video sent over that has a title that left us a little skeptical going into it, but figured we might as well check it out and see if it lived up to be an “insane BMX basketball trick shot“. Alex Avilla and Dom Simoncini teamed up for what should be an impossible trick shot involving a BMX bike, a basketball and hoop. Hit play to watch Alex literally tailwhip the ball halfway across the skatepark into the hoop! This is definitely a 3-pointer. The video might require a few looks, but it’s nothing short of insane. Check it out!
