Lauren Mirra Talks Dave Mirra’s Final Days & Battle with CTE
When we first heard that Dave Mirra had passed away and the circumstances, much like many of you, we were in disbelief and trying to understand why somebody who had everything could take their life. Today, X-Games released a new interview with Dave Mirra’s wife, Lauren, discussing some of his final weeks and days leading up to the incident. They also discuss the brain test results verifying that Dave was battling Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, the same thing researchers are finding on NFL players brains with many concussions, which explains the struggle and state of mind he was battling with in those final months, weeks and days.

Scotty Cranmer – Worst Skatepark Ever: Jamesburg, New Jersey
Scotty Cranmer cooking up another round of Worst Skatepark Ever. This time around Scotty and Big Boy spend some time putting the skatepark in Jamesburg, New Jersey to good use. Despite the place being pretty rough around the edges, it looks like these guys had no problem putting the place to good use! Enjoy!
“Big Boy and I drove the WRX’s over to the Jamesburg NJ skatepark because someone said it wasn’t the best skatepark out there! So we accepted the challenge and decided to try and film a whole riding video at the skatepark! Big Boy sent a huge flair right away! and then came up with some awesome lines that only he does!He also took a crazy dramatic crash in normal Big Boy fashion! I was able to do some stuff I was really proud of and I did a couple technical tail whip lines that I have never done before! I also did a barspin over the fence of the skatepark that I was really pumped on!”

Telsiai Skatepark Edit
It’s crazy how many really solid BMX videos can be online for nearly a year and nobody notices. We had this one from the Telsiai skatepark over in Lithuania sent through and we’re real stoked on it. This video, which starts out with some chains being cut to get the party started, is packed full of awesome riding, a good mix of tricks and diverse styles making for a good watch from start to finish.
