At this point an event like GGFEST is a breath of fresh air. We take it back to the good ol’ days when contests were actually fun. It started with kids building plywood ramps and dirt jumps in their backyard and that’s what it still is in a way. The spirit of actual BMX freestyle is alive and well at the Ghetto Games festival in Latvia!

This summer we’ve set the dates to July 29-31! Three days of BMX street, park, dirt and flatland. You want to be here!”

Boozer Jam at Sheephills 2016

FBM – Quick Stop: Hernando, Mississippi

Did you know Hernando, Mississippi has a really fun looking skatepark? We had no idea, well, since we had never even heard of Hernando, Mississippi. Some of the FBM crew decided to load up the bus and head out that way to see just what the skatepark had to offer. Turns out they ended up having a damn good time and filmed a ton of clips for this new BMX video. Check it out!

2016 Trans Jam at Crabtree Trails

Here’s one we spotted over on Can You Dig It for you to check out from this years Trans Jam at the Crabtree Trails. Despite some rain putting a damper on things leading up to the event, it looks like things held out and the contest went off smooth. “We got to host another year of the TransJam Contest series at our public jumps at Lake Crabtree again this year and per usual the week before it brought rainy conditions. Don and myself were able to get out early and scrape away the mud and the jumps came around to near perfect. The event had a great turn out and everyone had a great time in the woods. Definitely looking forward to having more sessions there this year!” – Andrew Bryan

Brad Simms – Russia Spot Check

World traveller Brad Simms recently spent some time in Russia for the XSA Invitational, and during his stay he definitely made the most of it. Here’s a fresh video from some riding time he caught while out cruising spots. As expected, Brad cooked up some damn good riding. Add in some crispy film work and you have a video you won’t want to pass up! What we’re curious about is the “Brad Simms Russia 2017” bit at the end. I’d imagine this means Brad will be making a voyage back over next year for more.
