Here’s one we’ve been looking forward to seeing online! Lux BMX have uploaded Alex Hiam‘s section from their “Aeterna” DVD online for your viewing pleasure! This section is jam packed with wild park and street clips from technical lip tricks to big blasted airs, grind combos and more! Alex delivers a super good mix of tricks on a bunch of great spots for this BMX video, so get on that play button and take it all in!
“A name in Australian BMX that needs no introduction, Alex Hiam has been on his bike since most of us were still playing with toy trucks in the sandpit. Coming from the bayside Alex made a mark early in his life with multiple comp winnings and video parts. Before maturing into the BMX superpower that he has become today. Alex has found outside interests in painting, meditation and cooking that keeps him busy between constant flights around the
globe. After years of extraordinary web videos and one other full-length video under his belt, we all knew Alex was going to produce something remarkable. With Mike Vokenson behind the lens, Alex used Australia as his playground clocking clips in Adelaide and Brisbane, Alex battled a number of annoying injuries and came out swinging” – Lux BMX

As many of you probably expected, Swampfest 2020 that was supposed to go down on April 4th has been postponed until May 23rd due to the Coronavirus shutting everything down lately. This is obviously a bummer if you have plane tickets and everything set to go, but it’s definitely for the best. It also gives the guys more time to build the trails even more dialed and get some more ramps done! Above is the Instagram post that was used to bring the news. Get those flights and everything else rescheduled for May 23rd!
Wethepeople keeping the Bike Checks going this week. They just dropped a fresh bike check with Dan Kruk and his signature Network frame that just dropped. Up top you can see a promo video, then head over to the Wethepeople website for a ton of photos and a full parts list. One thing to note is the mint bike in the video, and the black bike he has for the photos. Gets a good look at two of the colors built up!
