Here’s a video that Colin Varanyak uploaded giving us a little behind the scenes look at what the Cinema and Fiend crews have been getting into during the “Cinema Is Fiending SoCal Tour” so far. This gives you a look at a little bit of the riding, plenty of laughs and good times being had a more! We cannot wait to see the final video from this one, it should be amazing with a heavy crew like this bouncing around to spots.

We were just checking out Flat Matters when we stumbled across this video featuring young Takato laying down some real dialed flatland riding. What’s crazy is that Takato is only 8 years old and he’s already SUPER smooth and making it look so easy. If this doesn’t blow your mind, we suggest you grab your bike and give it a whirl… We would imagine we’ll be seeing more of this kid in the future. I was probably running around hitting myself in the head with a whiffle bat when I was 8 years old…

The entirety of this video was filmed on the east coast of Canada, featuring a long line up some of the most talented street riders in the Maritimes, with tons of different styles. Thinking about getting a new BMX Stem, but you haven’t taken one off or installed one on your own before? Well, you’re in luck because Brant Moore just put together showing you how to properly remove your existing stem and how to install a new BMX stem on your bike. This covers everything from loosening the side bolts BEFORE the compression cap to avoid stripping the cap out, making sure you have enough clearance your fork to ensure you can tighten your headset properly, alignment, how to tighten your bars down properly and more. It’s safe to say that Courage Adams has quickly climbed up to the top of a lot of people’s favorite riders list over the past two years. Between his INSANE bike control and balance, the ability to ride a cassette hub unlike any other riders, he always produces some incredible riding that never fails to make your brain melt. About Pat Blackburn
Pat Blackburn was a BMX coach that cared deeply about BMX racing and the kids he coached. Pat headed up The Bike, Blade and Board Coalition’s effort to get the city of Chandler to recognize the need for legal, public places for BMX freestylers and racers to ride. His leadership led to the design, build and opening of the Phoenix area’s first bike park on May 5th, 2007. Pat passed away in November of 2014 and this contest is named in his memory.

About the Pat Blackburn Open
Although it opened in 2007, Chandler Bike Park had never hosted a legitimate contest…until just last year. On October 15th, 2016, the first ever BMX freestyle contest went down at one of the raddest bike parks in the United States. The first Pat Blackburn Open was a great success and will continue to take place annually.
