The final day of X Games are here and things are wrapping up with BMX Dirt Finals and the Dave Mirra Best Trick. Believe it or not, it’s actually pretty hard to get clearance to film anything beyond practice at the X Games without certain credentials. But, there are ways to make it happen. Here’s a highlight reel of footage showing you what went down during X Games 2017 BMX Street Finals where Garrett Reynolds took the top spot courtesy of Ride BMX. Scotty Cranmer has been putting in a ton of work toward his recovery the past 9 months, but isn’t quite ready to be dropping in just yet. X Games wouldn’t be the same without Scotty, so they had him come out to be an announcer for the BMX events. It’s always a good day when Rob Ridge drops a new video! Although his skatepark closed last year, it looks like that didn’t keep him from hitting up a bunch of other skateparks to stack some clips! When it comes to filming, it’s never going to be that you will pull every trick perfect first try. You can almost count on taking a slam or two or the trick just not looking as good as it could. Jake Deering‘s section from the “Alive & Well” video that Focalpoint put out dropped online earlier this week and it was damn good. Now, we get a look at all the slams and B-Roll that went into making that part happen! It’s safe to say Jake took a beating for this one!
