Can You Barspin, Big Boy? + Scotty Cranmer Update
Big Boy coming through with a fresh video. This time around he decided it was time for him to learn Barspins, so he recruited Brooklyn to give him a few pointers. This could definitely help anyone trying to learn this trick, so hit play and check it out.
Also, you can find the latest update on Scotty from his wife! Sounds like things are moving along nicely!
Okay, it’s true I suck at barspins, so I called up BK all day to give me a few pointers since he just recently dialed them in. ALL IT TAKES IS SOME COMMITMENT!
SCOTTY UPDATE
He is doing very well and enjoying his therapy very much and likes that it is getting him active. He is very motivated and knows that he will pull through as long as you guys keep backing him up.” – Big Boy
UPDATE 11/4/16: “Today is day Four of rehab and Scotty has been doing good. It’s great to be back in New Jersey. He’s surprising everyone here with his positive attitude and dedication to work hard during his sessions. He makes the nurses laugh every time they come in the room. During rehab when someone asks him what his goal is he says “to win!” with a smile. The rehab is taking a lot out of him and he sleeps between sessions but he needs the rest to heal. Luckily, he has Trish here to help him while he’s here. He’s a little frustrated that he’s not walking immediately and we have to remind him that it’s a slow but steady process. REMINDERS are key. “focus more on your “cans” and less on your “cannots”. I’m his biggest cheerleader. <3 I'll try to post some updates as often as possible! thank you for the prayers and kind words.” – Lisa Cranmer

Eclat – Seeker Pedal
Is it time for a new set of BMX Pedals? The crew over at Eclat have released their new Seeker Pedals for those of you who prefer a plastic pedal. These pedals start out with an injection molded nylon and fiberglass body with a wider body than most other pedals that is also thinner than the average pedal. You can find 14 molded pins and knurling on both sides of the pedal, along with a few Eclat logos for good measure. One thing you might also notice is the pedal is flat from side to side with a small concave, where most pedals feature a bulkier center to accommodate for the axle and bearings.
Inside you can find a chromoly axle and a dual bearing and bushing combination that allows the pedal to maintain strength without having too much bulk.
The Seeker pedal comes in colors of black and Army green with a weight of 15.97 oz. Available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Eclat worldwide now.
Knurling + 14 molded pins = plenty of traction.
These pedals feature a slimmer profile than most plastic pedals on the market. You can also see how the pedal is flat from end to end with a slight concave to give a little more grab on the pedal.
Available in black and Army green colors now.

If you have been on Instagram lately, there’s a good chance you might have caught some glimpses into a new movie that’s in the works that is based around BMX. More specifically, it’s based around the incredible life of Haro‘s brand manager, John Buultjens, and how a new family and BMX completely changed his outlook on life and his future completely. This movie has a pretty interesting cast from a number of pro riders to guys like rapper / actor Ludacris and more! Hit play to check out a news story on the movie that gives you some details. We’re really looking forward to this one. John’s story is absolutely amazing and unless you have crossed paths with him, you probably haven’t heard it.
