If you didn’t notice the post below, then you didn’t realize I was in Milwaukee this past weekend for the Verge Music Festival. 4Seasons and Jeff K did a real good job of making things happen for this. A few months back when we were driving back from Toronto, Jeff Dowhen was telling me about a contest that Jeff K had in the works. I just remember him saying something about it being invite only and it was going to be during a big music festival. I said I’d be there and I’m always one to keep my word.
I’ll be heading to Milwaukee today to check out the Verge Music Festival which will feature the Battle at the Bubbler which will feature guys like Jeff K, Jeff D, Josh Eilken, Tony Neyer, Tony Malouf and Dave Freimuth on the course below. I’ll be shooting photos so expect to see some coverage from this weekend on here and Dig. Get psyched. Oh, and it’s Micah Kranz’s birthday today so that means Milwaukee will probably end up on fire by the end of the night. Boom.

For some reason over the years, Chase Zink has always stood out to me. I recall seeing footage of him in the old Michiana website and always thinking the dude was going to blow up because of how much style and talent he had on a bike. It’s been a little while since I’ve seen anything from him and I decided I’d see if he would be into answering a few questions. Luckily, Chase was into it and I’m psyched about that. Alright, flash back time. About 5 or so years ago when there was a demo at the mall here where I’m from being put on by DK that featured Tim, Vinnie Vasquez, Ron Thomas (I think), and Quinn Semling. Regardless, Tim was super dialed and fun to watch ride. I ended up chilling there all day with the guys and ended up talking to them and what not. But yeah, so fast forward a few years and I ended up keeping contact with Tim here and there. Then, last winter during BACO in Milwaukee, there was an after party at a bar and sure enough Tim was at the door. It was rad to catch up with him a bit and everything. Fast forward a bit more and a few days ago Tim had a real dialed edit drop that people were psyched on! I decided it was well overdue to get him some questions. I’ve been noticing Zack Trnka more and more lately. He’s definitely been on a level of progression that’s on a high pace. After his last edit, I knew he was well over due for an interview! I always feel like I’ve neglected this site when it goes 2 or so days without any fresh content… I take full responsibility. But, I do have a valid reason! The Dig site gets about 20 posts a day filled with videos, news, and original content that I post up. I’ve decided to compile the original content that I’ve produced on that site lately just to show that I’m not really slacking, I’m just hustling a lot on Dig! So, here’s that list… Oh, and expect a bunch of content for BMXunion coming in hot soon. It’s just a waiting game to get stuff back!

A few weeks ago Wyatt Kreel moved back to Rochester, where I’m from, and he has been tossing some good stuff lately. The other night we decided to pull the camera out for a bit and get a few things filmed. He ended up pulling a bunch of good stuff, and I even snuck in front of the camera for a minute. Filmed with a Canon T1i and a Canon 18-135mm lens. Boom.
