“We’ve know Scotland’s Sean McGilly for a while now and when we caught glimpses of a project he was undertaking with Edinburgh based filmer Andy MacDonald we knew it was something to keep an eye out for. Battling Scottish weather, the guys filmed this over a couple months and despite not getting everything they were looking for, this still turned out awesome. Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Scottish capital, with some sick riding from the BSD Worldwide Crew rider. Big love to Andy for hooking this up and creating a visual treat.

Nowear – Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode Frame

June 19, 2019

Nowear BMX Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode BMX frame

Get a look at the Dan Nielsen signature Beast Mode frame from Nowear BMX!

Over the past couple years, Nowear have offered their Mike DiNello Signature Frame that definitely turned a lot of peoples heads when it was intitially released because in all reality, it looks nothing like 99% of BMX frames available these days. That frame had gone on to sell really well, and I’ve personally seen more than 100 out in the wild at contests and jams since its been released.

Today, Nowear hit us up to let us know they’re now releasing a second version that will be the Dan Nielsen signature Beast Mode frame that takes a lot of the features that the DiNello frame offers, but something that’ll fit Dan’s taller height and make it more ideal for hucking flips on ramps and crushing it out in the streets. Anyone that has caught a session with Dan knows that he absolutely SHREDS on a BMX bike and sends real gnarly stuff all the time. Dan definitely deserves this signature frame, that’s for sure.

Nowear BMX Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode BMX frame

The Beast Mode frame is made here in the United States by Dave Harrison over at Pedal Driven Cycles from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.75-degree head tube angle, 72-degree seat tube angle, 9″ standover height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 13.25″ chainstay length (Slammed) and a 21″ top tube length giving you plenty of room to crank tables and turndowns or stretch a big can-can. The frame features that “Virtual Top Tube” design that really opens things up for those tricks as well. You can find an integrated head tube, Mid bottom bracket, your choice of removable brake mounts, welded brake mounts or a completely brakeless option.

You can pre-order one of the frames now for $469 – $489 in the Nowear webstore. The frame is available in Midnight Blue and Nuclear Translucent Green, but if you pay in full on the pre-order you can do any color you want! The frame weighs in at a lightweight 4.9 lbs. with the brake mounts.

Learn more about the new Beast Mode frame from Nowear below…

“Nowear believes in making the highest quality parts while supporting local and American jobs. These frames are manufactured in Georgia, then painted and stickered in Nebraska.

This frame is a great combination of being both responsive and roomy, allowing you to blast the big double full speed, and still crank the bike hard for that turndown or tabletop!

The virtual top tube design allows extra-foot clearance making countless tricks easier, and the impossible tricks, possible! You’d be surprised how much smoother and further you can take tables, turndowns, look-backs, any can combo etc when you have the extra room.
The slightly steeper head tube helps responsiveness and lessens the force on the front end helping strengthen the frame.

We offer our brake models with removable gyro tabs, welded single cable guides & welded chain stay 990 mounts so the braking force goes towards the tubing, rather than pulling it away. This also lets the cable travel a shorter & straighter distance making it pull more freely. It’s all about dialing-in your brakes to perfection.

We wanted every little detail to be special right down to the stickers! Dan’s nick name, “Danimal” has always had a super hero feel and he has earned that reputation for always going so darn big!

The model name shown one the head badge is one of Dan’s favorite sayings for when you go big, you’re going “Beast Mode!” This design was hand-drawn by fellow Pusher BMX Shop rider, Preston Solis.

The Paw print displayed in the middle is showing love for Dan’s best friend, his dog “Zor” (Rest in Peace)
The sticker kit was designed by friend and designer Tasha Lindemann “TJL Designs”

“LFS3” Trailer

June 19, 2019

The LFS crew out east have been back on their filming grind and putting in work for their new full-length DVD “LFS3” that’s due out next year! Here’s a short and chill promo video to get you hyped for it!

“Born and bred in the dirty streets of Jersey, the Looking For Spots crew excel in the art of finding spots and then putting them to proper use. After some down time, they’re back on the DVD grind, and here’s a little taste of what they’re cookin’ up.” – Our BMX

“After LFS2, we took a nice break and decided to hold off on any projects for a bit. To be honest we weren’t sure if or when another DVD was going to happen. But who were we kidding? A real street rider knows that once you start looking for spots, it never stops—ever. So here we are, LFS3. Out in 2020.” — Mikey Almodovar
