Indoor Obstacle Course at 5050 Skatepark

Can’t go wrong with an obstacle course. Here’s a new video from an obstacle course that Big Boy, Matty Cranmer, Dom Simoncini, Cory Berglar and Trey Jones setup at 5050 Skatepark on a rainy day! This one is a pretty technical course, and it’s safe to say these guys didn’t find this super easy to do. This one gets a bonus voice over from Scotty Cranmer and Big Boy for some extra laughs. Check out what went down and who ended up finishing the obstacle course first!

“Scotty and BIG BOY are back again with the voiceovers. For some reason our Mic has been acting weird and I don’t realize until we go to look at the footage. But when in doubt Voice over it out. The boys and I had an amazing time at 50-50 skate park, I came up with the idea to do a crazy obstacle course when I realized how much random stuff was packed into the small space. We managed to get wooden rail rides, small kickers, gaps, step ups, rail rides, and flips involved in one course. We had a lot of fun, a bunch people got hurt, people that some crazy bunny hops and some people did some pretty crazy flops.”

LFS X 5050 Staten Island Street Jam

The Looking For Spots crew teamed up with 5050 Skatepark to throw a street jam in Staten Island in New York! Here’s a video giving you a look at all the action that went down from the young guns to the Pros that turned out. Looks like it was a damn good time to us! Enjoy!

Big Boy Broke The Electric Bike

It’s always interesting when you see companies outside of BMX come through with BMX bikes and try to appeal to actual riders. The reason it’s funny is because 9 times out of 10 the bikes are not designed to actually withstand the abuse that actually comes from riding. Big Boy, Ricky Hoffman and Dom Simoncini caught a session at 5050 Skatepark where they had the opportunity to ride some of these Electric BMX bikes. It turns out these bikes fell into that 9 out of 10 category and ended up finding out what a few grinds from Austin Augie and a flair from Big Boy can do to one of these bikes. #StandWithScotty Halloween Jam at 5050 Skatepark

We have had a few videos pop up from the 5050 Skatepark Halloween Jam, but the crew at 5050 just sent through their own edit giving you a look at the action that went down throughout the day. This event was also a fundraiser for Scotty Cranmer and it looks like the park was able to donate over $700 to help Scotty out with his medical expenses. Not bad at all! Hit play and check this out!

We are proud to announce together we raised $735 on behalf of everyone that attended our annual Halloween jam tonight. The love and support for Scotty is amazing. There were not only BMX riders, but scooter riders and skateboarders excited to donate and tell their story about how Scotty Cranmer is so inspirational to them.

Thanks to everyone that came out tonight! It’s no surprise after being the only able to land the “Loop of Horrors” Dominick Simoncini walked away with the free week to Woodward East courtesy of Red Bull.

BMX Death Loop

Billy Perry coming through with a video from the 5050 Skatepark Halloween Jam! Hit play to take the ride to the skatepark, then check out some riding from the massive loop they built for the event plus some riding that went down inside as well. Looks like it was a great turn out and a real good time for pretty much everyone, except the kid that ended up broke off from the loop. Check it!

5050 Skatepark – Halloween Jam Flyer

5050 Skatepark over in New York City are throwing a Halloween Jam this Saturday, October 29th! The party kicks off at 3PM and goes until everyone calls it quits. They have a ton of prizes to give away, plus every entry gives $5 toward the Scotty Cranmer recovery fund! If you’re in the area, this is bound to be a great time and it’s for a really good cause, so hit it up!

In The Cut – GT Bicycles Jam at 5050 Skatepark

A few weeks ago GT Bicycles did their 2017 Complete Bikes Launch at 5050 Skatepark in New York. DIG‘s Rob Dolecki was there taking it all in with his camera. Here’s a raw cut from the product launch, riding and some of the laughs we had during the jam. There’s even a second angle of the Jason Phelan backflip off the kicker in the pouring rain.
