What are you doing on July 16th? If you’re near New York City, you should make your way to 5050 Skatepark in Staten Island for the GT Bicycles jam that Brian Kachinsky, Jason Phelan, Dan Conway, Albert Mercado and Jeff Ludgwig will be throwing. They will also have all the brand new 2017 completes to check out and prizes and giveaways. After that, everyone is heading over to the Tender Trap for a little after party as well! We will be there for this one, so get stoked. It’s going to be a good time. We hope to see you there!
5050 Skatepark sent over a video they put together from a little tour they got of the FBM warehouse up in New York! This is pretty brief and the audio isn’t super good, but you get a little look into one of America’s finest BMX manufacturers warehouses.

It has been good seeing the median age for BMX riders slowly start to climb as more guys are riding well into their 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s these days. The LFS crew threw an Old Mans night at 5050 Skatepark in New York City to give them some time to ride without having to worry about dodging the young guns and kids on scooters. Although I don’t think anyone in this one is really that old, there was no shortage of dialed riding that went down. Take a look at what went down between Alex Avilla, Mike Kleissler, Steve Jones, Mike “Smallfry” Almodovar, Steve Kul, Special Chris Dolan, Casey Sterling, Turtle Wooten, Adam Hauck, Andrew Panio, and Nick “Spam” Ponterio

The 5050 Skatepark crew recently decided to load up and head south of New York city on down to Woodward East for some good times and riding. Here’s a BMX video they cooked up from the trip. Looks like they had plenty of fun and some real solid riding went down to us.

It’s pretty awesome seeing some of the “older” guys sticking around and riding BMX longer than we have seen in the past. 5050 Skatepark threw a Old Man night to let some of the older guys get a session in without tripping over all the kids on scooters or feeling way old when a 12 year old shows up and throws down better riding, haha. Although the quality is a little rough, this BMX video has some solid riding in it.
While most places were closed on Christmas day, 5050 Skatepark kept their doors open and held a big session with a few of the locals that rolled through. Check out some highlights from the day in the BMX video above. Looks like it was a productive day to us!
“Instead of hanging out with the family all Christmas Day. 5050 Skatepark locals all met up on Christmas Day and Paul Marten Filmed and Edited this Cool Edit.
