Federal Bikes – 22 Fork

Are you on the hunt for a new BMX Fork ? Have you given the Federal Bikes 22 Fork? No, this isn’t a 22″ fork that we’ve seen a few brands put out, but it is a 22mm offset fork for those of you looking for something to make your bike more responsive and nose balance friendly. The 22 fork is made from 110% 20/20 Heat-Treated 4130 chromoly tubing with a one-piece, hydro formed steerer tube with an integrated bearing race, butted and tapered legs, one-piece formed end caps at the dropouts to help reduce the number of welds, 6mm thick 3/8″ dropouts with a 22mm offset. This fork has plenty of clearance for 2.40″ tires as well.

The 22 Fork is available in matte black and chrome with a weight of 2 lbs 3.4 oz. through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Federal Bikes worldwide.

6mm thick 3/8″ dropouts with one-piece end caps to reduce the number of welds and give it a clean look. Plenty of clearance for pegs and hub guards, too.

The legs taper from 1 3/4” at the top to 7/8” at the dropouts.

Animal Bikes – Street Fork

Are you on the hunt for a new BMX fork? Here’s a look at the brand new Street Fork that will be available September 2016 from Animal Bikes. The Street Fork is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a one-piece 170mm long steerer tube with an integrated bearing race, tapered legs with Investment Cast 3/8″ dropouts that feature the Animal logo and the new Animal Sewer Cap up top to keep everything tight that has a 3/8″ ratchet head and a 6mm allen key bore.

The Street Fork comes in black only with TWO offsets; 26mm and 15mm (Yes, you read that right, 15mm). This fork is definitely ideal for those of you who like a responsive front end and to do tricks that require nose balance. These forks also come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Product: Subrosa – Battle Fork II

Is it time for a new BMX Fork? Looking for something you can count on when you’re dropping in or about to take a big drop? The Subrosa Battle II Fork might just be what you’re looking for. The 2nd version of the Battle fork is made from 100% post-weld Deathproof heat-treated 4130 chromoly with a one-piece CNC machined streerer tube with a 5mm cut line and integrated headset race. The fork legs are fluted, butted, oversized and tapered wit larger radiuses to give you more clearance for 2.40″ tires. You can find 6mm thick Investment Cast 3/8″ dropouts with a 30mm offset for strength and a 6061 hard anodized alloy compression cap and an anti-rust ED coating under the paint to wrap things up.

The Battle Fork II is available in black, chrome, matte purple and matte blue with a weight of 36.1 oz. and a price tag of $145.99 – $155.99 dependent on color!

Product: Firma – Bottle Cap Fork Top Cap

Just when you think everything that could be done with a BMX Fork top cap, somebody comes up with another interesting idea that catches your eye. The guys over at Custom Riders tipped us off to this new one from a brand called Firma that we’re not all that familiar with, but we are digging one of their new products. The Bottle Cap fork top cap is CNC machined from 7075 aluminum with two sizes; H24 or H25 thread, to fit most BMX forks between the two sizes. What’s unique is the top is shaped to fit any bottle cap tight on top to give it a unique look that’s custom to you that you can change out any time you have a new bottle cap.

You can pick the Bottle Cap up for £7.99 Custom Riders over in the U.K in black for the only color.

How a BMX Fork Leg Is Made

It would appear that Chris Moeller caught everyones requests to see more of how BMX products are made. The other day he posted up a clip of how knurling is added to handlebars, now today we get a look at how they bend the tubing for an S&M Bikes or Fit Bike Co. fork. It seems pretty simple, but it’s still pretty interesting to see since we don’t always get to see the production side of BMX. We want MORE!!!

Product: Odyssey – R25 Fork

Is it time for a new BMX Fork? Maybe it would be a good time to take a closer look at the R25 fork from Odyssey. This fork is made from 41-Thermal heat-treated chromoly with a 166mm long one-piece steerer tube with an integrated bearing race, butted, tapered and D-shaped legs to increase strength while offering plenty of peg and 2.40″ tire clearance, 4mm thick 3/8″ drop outs with a 25mm offset and a 7075-T6 alloy compression cap to keep everything tight.

The R-Series fork is also available with a 32mm offset as well for those of you who are looking for a less aggressive and agile fork.
