Sneak Peek: Radio Bikes – Brian Fox Signature Frame

Here’s your first look at the Fox frame from Radio Bikes…

That didn’t take too long! Brian Fox joined the Radio Bikes squad the other month and they immediately went to work on his first signature frame, the Fox frame. Today, we get a look at the frame with full details!

The Fox frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.25-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 8.5″ (20.6″) and 9″ (21.1″) standover heights and a 13″ (20.6″) or 13.2″ (21.1″) chainstay length. The frame will come in a 20.6″ top tube length with the shorter standover and chainstay length and 21.1″ with the taller standover and longer chainstay length.

You can find gussets on the top and down tubes, a double butted top tube, butted seat tube, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, tapered seat stays with plenty of clearance for 2.40″ tires, chainstay removable brake mounts and 6mm thick, heat-treated dropout!

The Fox Frame from Radio Bikes will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Radio Bikes later this year. We’ll let you know when it drops!

Sunday Bikes Mark Burnett Excelsior Frame BMX

Sunday Bikes have released the Mark Burnett signature Excelsior frame in two new colors; Translucent Cream Soda and Flat Black, to go along with the existing clear coat raw color. The Excelsior frame is made from 100% post-weld heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.25″ – 13.5″ chainstay length. The frame features a 5″ tall integrated head tube, internal gussets on the double butted top and down tubes, a miter cut top tube and butted seat tube, Mid bottom bracket, Integrated seat post clamp (except on the Raw version), tapered seat and chain stays for extra 2.40″ tire clearance and hollow 8mm drop outs with integrated chain tensioners. This is a BRAKELESS frame, so there are no mounts.

The Excelsior frame is available in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths, colors of Translucent Cream Soda, Flat Black and Clear Coat Raw and weighs in at 5 lbs. even. Let’s take a closer look at the 2017 Crew frame from Stress BMX…

For 2017, Stress BMX have made a few subtle changes to their Crew frame that we’re sure you’ll be into.

The 2017 Crew Frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9.1″ standover height and a 12.9″ chainstay length. The frame starts out with a heat-treated integrated head tube with an etched Stress logo, internal and external top and down tube gussets with the Stress logo, a heat-treated down tube for dent resistance, a heat-treated Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp, “Wolfbone” gussets on the seat and chainstays for increased strength and additional tire clearance for 2.40″ tires and heat-treated dropouts.

The 2017 Crew Frame from Stress is available in Gold Camo, matte black, glossy grey, matte clear raw colors, 20.5″, 20.8″, 21″ and 2.25″ top tube lengths and weighs in at 4.74 lbs. You can pick this BMX frame up from BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Stress worldwide now.

BSD have just released details on the latest colorway for the Alex Donnachie signature ALVX Frame! Here’s a look at the Special Edition Digital Camo ALVX frame that’ll be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide. This frame has a custom digital camouflage wrap that covers the entire frame, giving it a unique look that is bound to turn some heads. The ALVX frame is made from seamless Sanko Japanese 4130 chromoly tubing with 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.70″ standover height and a 12.5″ – 13″ chainstay length. You can find an integrated head tube with top and down tube gussets, an integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, curved seat and chain stay bridges and an extra wide rear end to fit 2.4″ tires and integrated chain tensioners on the 7mm thick Investment Cast dropouts. This frame does NOT come with brake mounts, so this frame is only for brakeless riders.

The Digital Camo ALVX frame from BSD comes in 20.3″, 20.6″, 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5 lbs. You can pick this BMX frame up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide starting around August 15th!

The Matty Aquizap signature Black Magic Frame from S&M Bikes has been in the works for a little while now and it’s finally starting to hit BMX shops and mail-orders. The frame is made right here in the U.S.A by S&M Bikes with full Butted Thermal X 4130 chromoly tubing, a 74-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9.30″ standover height and a 14.10″ – 14.75″ chainstay length! You can find a taller Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp with an S&M Bikes logo, a wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, tapered seat stays with end caps that have the S&M Logo, heat-treated 14mm dropouts and welded on chain stay brake mounts and guides.

The Black Magic Frame comes in Metallic Black and Gloss White with 21″, 21.25″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths, a weight of 5.4 lbs. and a price tag of $354.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry S&M Bikes.
