Sneak Peek: Colony – Emerald Colorway

We love this time of year because so many new products are being released by brands! Today, Colony dropped this sneak preview of their new Emerald colorway that will be available on their grips, pedals and what appears to be a brand new tire they’re working on! It sounds like this will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Colony worldwide very soon, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have the full scoop!

How To Install Grips with Adam Banton

Eastern Bikes coming through with a fresh How To video featuring Adam Banton showing you how he installs a fresh pair of BMX grips on his bike using some spray adhesive. Adam also gives you a run through of how to get the grips off once they have been glued on using a flathead screw driver.

The Daily Grind – Grips and Slider Pegs

The Daily Grind weren’t at Interbike 2016, but they sent over a little preview of two of their new items. Above and below we have the new The Daily Grind grips that are made with a super soft Krayton rubber with a mushroom style ribbed pattern. The grips are 160mm long, 30.5mm in diameter and come in colors of black, black and red swirl, black and green swirl, gum and purple!

Next is a look The Daily Grind’s new Slider peg. This peg has a German engineered nylon sleeve and chromoly core. It comes in at 4.6″ long giving you plenty of peg to work with when it comes to grinds like crooked grinds.

Both of these items will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry The Daily Grind worldwide starting soon!

Sneak Peek: Cult – Sean Ricany Grips

We were just checking out Neal Wood‘s Instagram to see what new creations he had been cooking up for Cult and he dropped a little sneak peek for you. Here’s a look at the Sean Ricany signature grip that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders with the 2017 range of Cult product that is dropping soon. Not much for detail, but it looks to have a wave rib pattern and no flanges. Not sure what the logo on the end looks like, either… But it’ll be out soon. Expect more details closer to its release.

Animal Bikes – Jeff Kocsis Signature Grip

August 23, 2016

Animal Bikes have released this preview of the new Jeff Kocsis signature grips that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Animal worldwide in September. The Kocsis grip features a classic Mushroom style ribbed pattern with a small band that features an Animal logo, a mid size flange for that happy medium between flangless and full flange and a 160mm length. It also appears to have a cut line making it easy to make it flangless if you prefer that route. The grips will be available in black or Retro gum and come with Animal’s new Sewer Cap bar ends that feature a metal insert to help prevent them from breaking as easily. So, if you’re on the hunt for a new set of soft grips, these might just be what you’re looking for!

Sneak Peek: FBM – Ride The Lightning Colorway

It’s always pretty crazy seeing what can be cooked up for color options these days. We’ve seen a lot of unique ones from the different styles of camouflage, oil slick, celestial, tie dye, etc., etc. over the past few years. It looks like the crew at FBM got a shocking idea for a new color that they’re calling “Ride the Lightning” that looks like some crazy lightning. There isn’t much info to come along with the photos, but it looks like the color will be available on their PMA Topload stem, Black Heart flangless grips and Nice Nylon pedals here in the U.S through QBMX and preferred BMX shops worldwide soon. Will these be the only parts available in this color? We’re not 100% sure. We do have a feeling these might be real popular since that color looks rad, though. Maybe since FBM and Profile Racing collaborate on a number of things, there will be some matching hubs to go with these colors? That would be pretty sweet.
