Is it time for a new BMX Seat? Here’s a sneak peek look at the 2nd version of Broc Raiford‘s signature Nautical seat from Volume Bikes that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide next month! They’ve gone with a crazy blue tie dye color and a different stitched logo than the original seat. The seat will be available in Tripod and Pivotal versions. We have a feeling this might be only one of the color options… We’ll keep you posted when and if we find out more before the release!
Here’s a sneak peek look at a BMX Seat we caught a look at back in September during Interbike. This is the Kink “Smut” Stealth seat that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders this spring. The seat features a screen printed cover with a bunch of girls from the older style magazines way back before they showed all the goods. It utilizes Kink’s Steal seat system which works like a Pivotal, but the bolt goes from the bottom for a clean look!
Due for a new BMX seat, but you want something a little different than what everyone else is running? Take a look at Ty Morrow‘s signature Corduroy Tripod seat from Fiend. This seat is made with a real corduroy material with a small Fiend tag sewn on, plenty of padding and the Tripod base for an easy and clean installation.

Due for a new BMX Seat? Here’s a little sneak peek at the new Tripod seat that Proper Bike Co. are working with their team rider Josh James AKA Boqer123 that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Proper in about two weeks. It sounds like the seat will be available in two colors (no word on the 2nd) and it appears to be a leather seat with a stitched “BQR” logo and stitched side tag. All in all, it looks like a real clean seat to us.
Is it time for a new BMX seat? Have you seen the latest version of Simone Barraco‘s signature Penumbra seat from The Shadow Conspiracy? Well, not a lot has changed from the previous version that also featured this unique Aztec pattern, but it is available in this new Army green that looks rad. The Series 3 Penumbra seat is available in Tripod or Pivotal versions, with slightly different seat pans, both seats are a Mid style seat that is wrapped in a sewn 3-panel, USA sourced, 10 oz. canvas material with plastic bumpers along the bottom to help resist wear and tear. The Pivotal version comes with a Coffin Pivotal patch which isn’t found on the Tripod version since the bolt is on the bottom.
The Simone Barraco Signature Penumbra Series 3 seat is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry The Shadow Conspiracy worldwide now with a weight of 9.3 oz. (tripod) or 11.8 oz. (Pivotal).

To go along with the Chase Hawk Vintage Military Seat, the crew at Odyssey have another option available in the same material for those of you looking for a little more padding. The Vintage Military Canvas seat is available in Tripod and Pivotal versions. The Pivotal version is similar in size and shape to Odyssey’s Principal seat which features a larger padding that wraps around the base of the seat with a custom Pivotal base that is re-inforced for additional strength. The Tripod version features a wider base and plenty of padding to keep you comfortable whether you’re sitting or throwing the bars.
Both versions use the same Vintage Military Canvas material that was sourced from downtown Los Angeles and have an “ODSY” patch sewn on. These BMX seats are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey worldwide now.

Is it time for a new BMX Seat, but you want something unique? BSD have just released Reed Stark‘s brand new signature Safari Pivotal seat for you to get your hands (or knees and ass) on. This Fat style Pivotal seat offers plenty of padding to make it comfortable to sit on and pinch with your knees. It’s covered with a woven nylon that has a giraffe print design, an embroidered BSD patch on the back and plastic bumpers along the back and sides to help resist wear and tear. On the hunt for a new BMX Seat? The new Alex Hiam combo seat from Colony BMX is now available. This all-in-one seat features a 25.4mm long allow post, with a plastic base, with mid or fat style padding, a tear resistant canvas cover with Alex’s logo, the CLNY logo and the “Roll With It” logo on the nose.
The Alex Hiam combo seat is available through BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide now with a wtih of 13.05 oz. and black and silver for the color.
