Last Call To Lockdown

Now this is what’s up! A heavy hitting crew took a trip to South Africa to explore the spots, take in the sights and absolutely crush everything they came across from street spots and ditches to cement parks and more. Here’s a look at what they got into with a ton of dialed clips, and plenty of laughs and good times along the way. If you like speed and style, this is the BMX video for you.

Boyd Hilder Welcome to Federal B-Sides

As many of you know by now, Boyd Hilder has quickly become a favorite rider for many because the guy can absolutely shred on everything he touches. Last year he joined the Federal Bikes team and dropped one hell of a Welcome video that was an absolute must see. Ben Norris decided it was time to put together the B-Sides that he collected while filming and editing the project, so we could get a behind the scenes look at what went down while making the video. Here’s a look at that footage. Needless to say, there’s still a bunch of great riding to take in, along with plenty of laughs. Check it out!

You’re In Queensland

Whenever there’s a BMX jam down in Australia, you know you’re going to see a good time. Ben Norris whipped up this edit from a trip he took with the crew to Queensland for the Off The Couch BMX jam, along with some partying, surfing and more. Looks like it was a damn good time to us! Chimera A-Side BMX Park Finals Highlights

It’s pretty wild how the Chimera A-Side contest had $90,000 up for first place for park AND flatland, and there really hasn’t been a ton of footage from the contest popping up, yet. Here’s a highlight video from finals that shows all the bangers that went down in park finals. Brandon Loupos ended up taking the win and all that cash, so we would imagine he’ll be sitting nice all year.

The CMPN Holy Rail Jam

A few weeks back we saw the CMPN throw a small trails jam in their back yard ( CMPN IN CLVLND ), now it looks like the dirt jumps have been leveled and they’ve built a huge rail setup OFF THE ROOF. The setup is gnarly and we’re sure the neighbors are pissed, but it did lead to some dialed riding and good times. Check out what they cooked up for clips during the sessions bombing off the roof and plowing into the fence full speed. Another BMX house that’s cooking up some crazy stories.

Chimera A-Side – First Impressions

We’ve seen some pretty wild BMX contests over the years, but what we haven’t seen is prize money that would definitely make an impact. The Chimera A-Side contest going down in Japan this weekend has a first place prize of $90,000. Prize money amounts can be kind of secretive for big events like X Games, but we’re pretty sure this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, payouts for a 1st place in a BMX contest, which is awesome to see. Here’s a raw cut of some first impressions and a bit of riding footage that Vital BMX put together. It’s interesting to see the reaction these guys get when they contemplate what they would do if they won. We’ll see if the money is going to push people to go bigger than ever before to win. Either way, there’s going to be a park rider and a flatland rider with a real nice chunk of change in their bank account to start off 2020.

BSD X Odyssey – Break Glasgow

BSD and Odyssey recently teamed up for a joint team trip to spend some time cruising the street spots and skateparks around Glasgow, Scotland to celebrate Odyssey joining Back Street Distribution. This stacked group of riders spent their days stacking clip after clip to end up with this 10 minute banger that you will not want to pass up! Great riding, sweet spots and some dialed film work.
