Remembering X with Chris Doyle

With the X Games about two weeks away, they’ve been starting to drop some rad content like this feature on Chris Doyle where he talks about riding in the X Games for the first time way back when he was 17 to what it’s like for him to ride the contest in his 30’s. Chris has always been one of our favorites for years and this is a good reminder as to why!

“Pumped BMX 3” Preview

Here’s some news we’ve been waiting or, for crew at Pumped BMX have been working on the 3rd version of the game that took over BMX riders phones and consoles around the world. The 3rd version will feature 15 of your favorite riders and companies on new courses with an even better playing experience. Not a lot of info has been released as of yet, but you can expect the game to drop this summer. Check out everyone that will be featured below!

Kink BMX – Chris Doyle “Intervention” Section

Kink have uploaded Chris Doyle‘s section from the “Intervention” BMX video online for your viewing pleasure. Chris put in some serious work on street spots, skateparks and trails in Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts and New Hampshire for this section and he ended up with some serious clips! Ender Ender – Chris Doyle from Kink “Safety First”

DIG caught up with Chris Doyle to talk about the ender clip in his part from the Kink “Safety First” full-length video from 2008! It’s pretty crazy how calm and sure he was about doing the trick, considering how easily it could have gone wrong. This is definitely a clear reminder as to why Chris continues to be one of the best to ride a BMX bike.

“It’s the last week of the month so that means one thing, a new DIG Ender Ender episode. Flashback to 2007 and Kink had been through some big changes and their new DVD ‘Safety First’ was in full swing when Chris Doyle found a setup that could finish things off for both his section and the whole project itself. A manual gap pegs was what was in store, but would it work out? Chris explains the full story…

Well, you’re in luck because Kink Bike Co. have hooked it up with their entire “Intervention” full-length BMX video featuring Darryl Tocco, Sean Sexton, Chris Doyle, Tony Hamlin, Chad Osburn, Dan Coller, Albert Mercado, Connor Lodes, Calvin Kosovich, Jay Roe, Jacob Cable, Travis Hughes and many, many more!

“This is Kink BMX – Intervention. A culmination of riding from the entire Kink BMX team filmed over the last part of 2015. Filmed by Darryl Tocco, Dan Coller, and Calvin Kosovich in the Southwest USA, California, East Coast USA, Costa Rica, Barcelona, and Latvia. This was an effort to not only get the whole team together, and showcase Kink for 2016…but to also take some time to have fun, shed light on the intricacies of your favorite Kink riders, continue traveling, put a bangin’ soundtrack together, and hope that this project gets you motivated to ride each day you click play!

On top of that….We broke our own guidelines to the video…and present you a full scale, real deal, Dan Coller Video Part. Filmed over the course of 2015 and during the filming for Intervention….there’s not many words that can sum up just how crazy this riding is. It is something you need to witness in video…and hopefully catch a session with Dan in person, to truly appreciate and respect. Dan is pushing burly, fast street riding…at a scary pace.”

Rockstar – Chris Doyle in Pittsburgh

You know it’s going to be a good day when a new Chris Doyle BMX video surfaces! Rockstar dropped this new one featuring Chris and Heath Pinter catching some laps at Hazelwood before taking the session indoors to The Wheel Mill! Classic Doyle tricks that never go out of style! Hit play and enjoy!

Was that Heath or Chris that hucked the backflip at 1:32? I’m assuming Heath because it’s a rare sighting to see Chris go upside down, haha. Somebody should have told those guys not to dress the same.

Red Bull – Berm Burners Pittsburgh

Plus Size BMX put this video together from this years Red Bull Berm Burners in Pittsburgh! Watch guys like Chris Doyle, Clint Reynolds and Mark Potoczny go head to head with a handful of other BMX and mountain bike guys. This might seem easy, but when you see a guy like Clint go over the berm, you know it’s not quite as easy as it may seem! All in all, this looks like it was a damn good time!
