Product: Colony BMX – Alex Hiam Sweet Tooth Frame

Colony released this short but sweet promo featuring Alex Hiam to promote the 2016 version of his signature Sweet Tooth frame! This frame is made from 4130 chromoly with a 75.2-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and 13.25″ chain stay length. You can find features like a heat-treated integrated head tube, a gusset on the down tube, a tapered top tube, down tube, seat and chain stays, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket, an extra-wide rear end to fit the 2.40″ tires easily, removable brake mounts, an integrated seat post clamp and 5mm thick heat-treated CNC machined drop outs.

The Sweet Tooth frame comes in top tube lengths of 19.8″, 20.4″ and 20.7″ with color options of gloss black, ED green and Midnight blue and a weight of 5.17 lbs. (20.4″).

Fact: We are HUGE fans of Tom Stretton and Bobbie Altiser. When we had this video from Colony pop up in our inbox, we couldn’t start watching it faster. Watch as both of these guys bring their amazing skills with nose balance to ramps and street spots. The clips with both of them riding together are even crazier. Watch and enjoy!

We have always seen unique colorway options available on BMX frames and parts, but it seems like lately we have seen some exceptionally unique colors that look amazing. Colony recently unveiled their 2016 line and one item in particular that really caught our eye is their new Tradition frame kit with their limited edition Firestorm colorway. This kid includes their new Tradition frame, Guardian fork, Roaster bars, Squarback top load stem, Colony Headset and adjustable headset spacer. Product: Colony – 2016 Monash Frame

Time for a new frame? Have you seen the new Colony Monash frame that was just released? The Monash is Colony’s brand new team frame that starts out with full 4130 chromoly tubing, a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and 13.1″ chain stay length (slammed). The Monash features a heat-treated Hourglass head tube with gussets on the top and down tubes, dent resistant straight gauge top and down tubes, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket, removable seat post clamp, tapered seat and chain stays that are wider apart to fit 2.4″ tires, heat-treated 5mm thick CNC machined drop outs and removable brake mounts using Colony’s Investment Cast removable mounts.

The Monash frame is available worldwide through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Colony now and comes in 20.4″, 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5.22 lbs. (20.4″) and colors of Translucent Black and Translucent Orange. More photos below!

Colony BMX – Zac Miner Farewell Video

Colony just sent through their latest video with some surprising news. Zac Miner has stepped down from his spot on the pro team for Colony. So, they decided to compile all of his latest footage for one last video to say thanks for the good times! Take a look at this BMX video!

“Zac Miner decided to take a step back from the PRO side of things within BMX so we wanted to send him off right with a video of all his most recent footage.

We will miss Zac’s burly riding but I am sure this won’t be the last you see of him. Be sure to check out his section in the Backbone BMX dvd that recently came out it’s a wild one!
