Unit 23 Skatepark – Jingle Buels Jam 2017

Whenever Unit 23 Skatepark throws a jam, you know it’s going to be a wild one! Here’s some highlights from the Jingle Buels Jam that went down the other weekend. As expected, it was a packed house and a ton of great riding went down from locals to the Pros like Kriss Kyle. Hit play and take it all in!

“It’s been a while since we’ve seen a jam at our local Unit 23 skatepark in Glasgow, Scotland but Chaz Mailey and the crew there thought it was about time to get everyone together again. The invites were sent, Bucky put on ice and the big bowl in Hall 1 was the venue. Sit back and enjoy a whole load of roasting from the likes of Kriss Kyle, Chaz and Connor Mailey, young Kieran Reilly and more.

“Having not put on a BMX event at Unit23 for a minute or two, we decided to have a bowl jam to end the year. What started as a little ‘friends only’ bowl session, soon turned into a bit of a jam, with speakers, flyers, prizes and Bucky. It’s cool to see the BMX world come together and make things like this happen, even north of the north. We’d like to thank our sponsors for helping us put this little jam together, BSD, Source, DIG, Endless & Seventies. A special thanks goes out to Jimmy’s Iced Coffee for being so down to help out, and a massive thanks to everyone that showed up and made it such a rad time! Here’s to next year! Some of the BSD team spend some time in sunny Malaga, Spain riding BMX…

The BSD squad recently loaded up for a trip out to Malaga, Spain to soak up the sunshine and spots! Here’s a video that Alex Donnachie put together featuring Kriss Kyle John Deans, Chaz Mailey and Connor Mailey going to work on spots around the city. Based off this video, it’s safe to say these guys had a really good time checking out the city! Check out what went down!

Connor Mailey and the Stirling Mini Ramp

Connor Mailey coming through with a whole bunch of style during a session in the mini ramp of the Stirling skatepark. When we’re watching street edit after street edit, it’s nice to mix things up with a BMX video like this. Can’t go wrong with a good old fashioned mini ramp session! Enjoy!

“When they re-done Stirling skatepark, a wise mind said they should keep the old mini ramp and just build the rest of the park around it. Sometimes a ramp just works, its quite a rare thing to find but it does happen, and this one works.
We spent an hour or so filming a few things with Connor while he nibbled about.

Nearly in Gran Canaria

The Nearly BMX crew were over the weather in the U.K, so they decided to hop a plane to Gran Canaria for 5 days of sunshine and spots! BSD – Chaz & Connor Mailey: Austin To Aspen

Other than Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, we can’t think of too many people who have taken a road trip to Aspen. BSD‘s Chaz and Connor Mailey recently spent some time over here in the U.S and took a trip from Austin, Texas to Aspen, Colorado riding spots, head butting the bottom of pools of water and having a damn good time. “This week’s 10 trick is a little special. Not only do we have Conor Mailey ripping up the insane Unit 23 skatepark in Scotland but the video was filmed by WETHEPEOPLE pro BMX rider Jason Phelan. You know its going to be a little weird and different. Conor is the son of Unit 23’s owner so when we say its his home turf, we really mean it. No idea what the costumes and the stuffed Tigger are all about, but we like their style. Killer riding, killer track, and one helluva song.”
