We got a look at Day 1 of X-Games 2015 Park Practice a little bit ago, now Ride BMX dropped some footage from Day 2! It looks like a lot of the guys really have their lines figured out and are really getting used to the course. This is bound to be a hell of a weekend for BMX.
“The second park practice session went down earlier this afternoon and it’s safe to say that the dude’s have the course figured out… Higher airs, bigger gaps, and additional tricks over said gaps. Dennis Enarson, Chase Hawk, Sergio Layos, Gary Young, Jason Watts, Kevin Peraza, and many more get some shine time out on the course while baking in the hot Texas sun.” – The X-Games are about to kickoff this weekend in Austin, Texas and you know a bunch of your favorite pro riders are in town to throw down. Here’s a look at some of the park practice that Dennis Enarson, Drew Bezanson, Sergio Layos, Chase Hawk and a bunch of other guys got in on the first day! Looks like we’ll be seeing some wild riding from these guys! “Here’s all the highlights from today’s three hour practice session on the park course. Some dudes took it easy (Bezanson, Fernengel, Dhers), other dudes just joked around (Wattz and Baldock), one dude had a rough day (Gary Young), and others looked like they already had their contest run mostly figured out (Cranmer, Hawk, Fox, Sergio)… check the vid.” – Ride BMX East County BMX 10 Year Anniversary Jam Highlights – More BMX Videos Check out highlights from the huge jam at the Clairemont Skatepark to celebrate 10 years of East County BMX! A ton of familiar faces turned out for this one and you know some amazing riding went down. Take a peek! After you watch the video, head over to Snakebite BMX to check out an interview with the owner, Henry Davis! “San Diego’s #1 BMX shop has officially been holding it down for ten years. To celebrate, they rented out Clairemont Skatepark and threw a huge jam. Watch as Dennis Enarson, Dylan Stark, Max Vu, Albert Mercado, and many more join the celebration. Are you on the hunt for some new BMX cranks? Are you worried about bending or breaking cranks? Well, maybe Dennis Enarson’s signature Rig cranks from Demolition Parts are what you’re looking for. These cranks start out with heat-treated chromoly arms with a built in ridge face for increased strength and stiffness with a forged spindle boss that sits flush to prevent ankle bite. The arms attach to a 24mm, 48-splined heat-treated chromoly spindle with chromoly spindle bolts that use a 3/8″ ratchet or 6mm allen key to tighten them down. Another perk is that each set of cranks come with a 24mm Mid Bottom bracket set (bearings, cones and washers). The Rig cranks come in sizes of 170mm and 175mm, right and left side drive compatible, colors of black and chrome and a weight of 31.6 oz. (175mm). These crank are currently available worldwide through all shops and mail-orders that carry Demolition Parts worldwide. More photos after the jump. Yesterday, Ride BMX dropped their A Moment In BMX Around the World Photo Project online. Now today we get a behind the scenes look that went into the photo of Ruben Alcantara and Dennis Enarson that ultimately ended up as a cover photo! Take a look! “As a compliment to the all-encompassing video we posted yesterday, I went ahead and put together this rather awesome timeline of what Ruben Alcantara, Dennis Enarson, Vincent Perraud, and Christian Rigal went through to get their photo. As Ruben states it, as everyone was eating burritos from Taco Bell in sunny SoCal, they were out putting in work to make it happen. And obviously their hard work paid off, as Vincent scored the cover with his amazing photo. Again, thank you to everyone involved!” Dennis Enarson Narrowly Avoids a Moving Car – More BMX Videos I think if you have been riding BMX long enough, you have undoubtably had a good scare involving a car or two in your day. Vital dropped this quick clip of Dennis Enarson giving himself (and an unsuspecting driver of a Kia Soul) a little scare! “Dennis gets in a switch hanger (that doesn’t meet his approval) and narrowly escapes being hit by a car. Full Dennis video coming soon… Haro just dropped this banger of a video featuring Dennis Enarson promoting his signature 2015 SD V2 frame! Needless to say, Dennis drops some HEAVY hammers in this and it’s a MUST SEE BMX video! “Dennis Enarson was born and raised in San Diego, California. Recently Dennis had the chance to move interstate and he couldn’t do it. He stayed where he knows best and feels right. His SDv2 signature Haro frame, fork and complete bike are out now and the main focus is strength. Dennis filmed this video with close friend and filmmaker Christian Rigal throughout the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Malaga, and in the USA they hit San Francisco, Colorado, and Texas. Titles by Kelly Bolton. ” The next stop at QBP‘s 2015 Frostbike was the Volume Bikes and Demolition Parts booth to get a look at all the fresh new product they have cooking up or that is already available!
