Heavy Session At The New Vans Training Facility

April 12, 2018

Some of the Vans team caught a private session at the new Vans headquarters…

What happens when Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Kilian Roth, Gary Young, Dan Lacey, Andrew Castaneda and Anthony Perrin get together for a session? Plenty of amazing riding and good times. The crew recently caught a session at the new training facility located inside the brand new Vans headquarters out in California. Here’s a raw cut of footage giving you a look at what went down!

“Vans moved the whole operation to Costa Mesa recently, and with that move came a lot of life improvements…the most epic of them being a little private ‘training facility’ that the employees and pro riders can call their own at any time of the day or night. Before the Vans Street Invitational kicked off, we organized a little (but insanely heavy) session with some of the Vans squad including Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Kilian Roth, Gary Young, Dan Lacey, Andrew Castaneda, and Anthony Perrin.

Hope you enjoy the raw cut; finding cleared music that isn’t horrible, so I figured this was the best way to go. Besides, I think it tells the vibe of the session pretty well.

Want more? Leave a comment and we’ll hassle Vans to get some more people in there.

“The 2018 Vans Street Invitational went down today in a blaze of fury. Best trick was absolute chaos but Kilian Roth took it home with an unreal down-rail manny to 180. Top 3 finishers were Garrett Reynolds (1st), Felix Prangenberg (2nd) and Chad Kerley (3rd) who all held down highly technical and consistent runs. The progression of BMX is getting to of control!” – Ride BMX

Vans – The Palmistry Guide: Thailand

November 30, 2017

Vans is back with the latest Palmistry Guide video! This time the crew made their way to Thailand to explore the place!

It has been a while since the last Vans BMX Palmistry Guide, but the wait is over and it was well worth it! Here’s a super rad video from a trip that Alex Valentino and a crew of heavy hitters took to Thailand to explore the street spots, ride the skateparks, meet the locals and just experience the place. As expected, this is packed with amazing riding, excellent film work and some great spots. This is one of those BMX videos that is hard to look away from once you hit play! Enjoy!

“The Kingdom of Thailand has been the new playground for our riders for the third chapter of The Palmistry Guide.

This year Alexandre Valentino and four BMX Vans riders Nicolas Badet, Benoît Gea, Tom Deville and Kilian Roth, escorted by Winai Khampheethoon their local guide, will take them from Bangkok to Lopburi. First shocks, the heat and humidity that will have to be tamed. First meetings, the riders of a skatepark in Bangkok. Here, not everyone speaks English, but BMX is a universal language. “”Thailand has been an incredible experience, a real cultural clash, and now we understand why it’s called the land of smiles”” Says Alexandre Valentin.

This one has a unique, laid back vibe to it with more of a raw feel to it, but don’t let that fool you… There is a ton of heat packed into this BMX video. Plus, Rich Forne did an amazing job with the film work as a whole (and as expected). Both Anthony and Kilian found plenty of rails, ledges and more to put their pegs to heavy use on. This is one of those videos that once you start, it’s hard to look away from.

“UNFILTERED I – CPH features Anthony Perrin and Kilian Roth exploring Copenhagen, Denmark during some challenging weather days in August. A video series that highlights the raw side of a BMX trip. The struggle, achievements, noise, peace, challenges, injuries, languages, architectures, cultures, weather, food, people, traffic, travel and jet lag.

With filming visionary Rich Forne sitting in the creative hotseat, we can expect some exciting scenarios.” – Vans
