When Brant Moore hits us up with a link to a new Lip Lords video we get beyond stoked. Today the entire 691 crew came through with some AMAZING combos that will leave you wondering just how the hell they do it. This is one BMX video that you cannot miss!

Lip Lords Part 691 is a special one. Our scene in Ohio is called 691 and has been around for 10 years or more now.
All of the guys in Part 691 are locals or were locals at one point. I had a blast putting this together and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

The Lip Lords were originally a group of guys from colorado who rode in the late 80s and early 90s.

When you watch as many BMX videos as we do in a day, eventually you start to recognize a lot of filmers and their work. There are days when a video comes out and we’re more stoked on who made the video than the actual rider, or we’re just more familiar with the filmers work than the rider. Over the course of time, we’ve been becoming bigger and bigger fans of Cal Earnshaw’s work and we knew it was time to get to know just who this guy behind (and in front of) the lens is! The Return of the Seat Post

In BMX’s pretty short existence in comparison to most other sports, it’s pretty crazy to think back and about how trends have come, gone, returned, gone away completely, then brought back to life again some how. This morning while we were watch a video that ended up in the Daily Section, we had a realization that the seat post has slowly crept its way back out of the seat tube and has made a proper return with a fists worth of it to show for it. We had noticed some people bringing the seat post back out over the past few years, but it still some how never really fully clicked for us that it was actually back until today… Let’s talk a little about this…

Review: The Backbone Video

Back in April we got the first look at a video project the Backbone BMX crew down in Australia were working on. The trailer, which kicked a lot of ass left us really looking forward to its release. Fast forward to the other week and the video was finally released worldwide. Our good friend Jon over at Can You Dig It got a bunch of copies to distribute in the U.S and he hooked it up with a copy. We figured since we were so stoked on the trailer that we better be prepared to do a review once we got our hands on a copy. That day came the other day and the video went straight into the DVD player. Here’s what we thought…
