“Well, here it is folks, the final section from the instant classic that is the ‘Still United’ DVD and it’s none other than ultimate savage, Nathan Williams. Nathan’s ability to take horrible slams like a trooper is unbelievable and his attitude and level of focus to getting the clips he wants is gold. If you’re a security guard getting in the way of what he wants to do on his bike, he’ll make you feel invisible. Enjoy the next 7+ minutes of breathtaking bike riding with one hell of a soundtrack – Nathan Williams is genuinely one of our best to ever do it, both on and off the bike. We salute you! Oh, and If you’re still wondering why we chose him as our DIG rider of the year in 2015 ahead of the game, well.. now you know.” – DIG

Nathan Williams Video Bike Check

December 18, 2017

Nathan Williams gives us one final bike check with his United Mothership setup…

It was announced earlier this week that Nathan Williams is no longer riding for United, but the guys at Ride BMX had a video bike check they filmed a few weeks back with Nathan that they figured they drop before Nathan switches things up with a new setup. Who he will be riding or, we’re not sure… But this is still a real dialed ride. We can imagine we’ll be seeing another bike check from Nathan in the near future.

“Well, many people didn’t see the whole Nathan Williams leaving United thing coming… Including us, because we shot this here bike check with him a few weeks back. For the sake of not having it ever, ever be seen, we figured it was worth dropping now, even if it is not all that relevant anymore. You can at least get a few insights into how Nathan rides the thing, eh?

Nathan Williams Is No Longer Riding For United

December 14, 2017

The 2018 sponsor news has been nothing short of surprising so far! United have announced that Nathan Williams is OFF the team…

Our NO FOREIGN LANDS venture to Lyon was @nathan88williams last trip riding for United. As you'll see from the edit, he still put in 110% into it, even though we knew he was leaving the brand. This is testament to who he is as rider and a person. He’s been with the United for 11 years, almost since the very first day. I can’t thank Nathan enough for what he’s done for us over the years. It’s been a pleasure and I wish him all the very best on his journey ahead. – @united_ian #unitedbmx #thanksforeverything

When it comes to sponsor changes, some are expected and some are pretty predictable… However, some are a complete surprise that we never would have imagined. It turns out Nathan Williams will be stepping down from the United team in 2018 after being apart of their team for the past 11 years! We’re not sure what sparked the decision, but it sounds like it was Nathan’s choice based off United’s Instagram post above. We will still see one last video with Nathan riding with United before he’s officially done, and we’re sure it’ll be a banger of a video, too. Does Nathan have a new deal lined up? We haven’t heard anything just yet, but it’s very likely… We can’t imagine a guy like Nathan not having a sponsor being one of the best street riders in the world! We’ll keep you posted when we learn more!

Update: You can check out the video from Nathan’s last trip here — No Foreign Lands: Part 1 – Lyon, France

Any guesses where he might end up? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

United – No Foreign Lands: Pt.1 Lyon

December 14, 2017

The United team spent some time exploring spots in Lyon, France and ended up with this amazing new video!

Here’s one that’s almost a bit bitter sweet! The United team made their way to Lyon, France to spend a few days exploring the city and stacking clips. The reason it’s a little bitter sweet is because this was the last trip Nathan Williams took as a member of the United team after 11 years of traveling the world with them. Needless to say, the team ended up with an absolute BANGER of a video that you can enjoy now! Amazing spots, excellent riding, dialed film work. You can’t pass this BMX video up!

“We’re excited to present this new video series from United, ‘No Foreign Lands’ that will run throughout the next year. The first destination was the heavily explored city of Lyon in France. Despite it’s well-ridden spots the United crew, consisting of Nathan Williams, Sebastian Anton, Corey Martinez, Harry Mills Wakley, Alex Valentino and Tom Deville put their mark on the city in a big way.

So, the beginning of this new chapter marked the end of another as United’s founder Ian Morris explain below, with some pretty big news:

“This was Nathan’s last trip riding for United as you can see from the edit, he still put in 110% into it, even though we knew he was leaving the brand. This is testament to who he is as rider and a person. He’s been with the United for 11 years almost since the very first day. I can’t thank Nathan enough for what he’s done for us over the years. It’s been a pleasure and I wish him all the very best on his journey ahead.” – Ian Morris / United Bike Co

E-Log – Fiending With Cinema

November 22, 2017

Check out this raw cut of footage from the Cinema and Fiend SoCal tour…

When you load up a van with the Fiend and Cinema teams, you know things are going to get crazy. Here’s a raw cut Ride BMX whipped up giving you a look at some of the riding and good times that were had, plus some words from the guys on what went down.

“I met up with the Cinema and Fiend squad as they cruised the streets of San Diego for a couple of days while on the #cinemaisfiending tour. Hit up a couple of demos, rode some spots, talked some shit…pretty much a typical BMX trip as they gathered clips for the now released “Escape To The Cinema” mixtape that you should watch right here.” – Ride BMX
