Have you ever looked at a BMX part and wondered how they do certain things? Have you ever seen the term “laser etched” and tried to imagine how they do it? Well, if you imagined a big laser blasting the parts, you would be pretty far off. Luckily, Profile Racing posted up this video showing how they laser etch the “Profile Racing” logo on one of their Z-Coaster hubs! Pretty cool if we may say although it’s not quite as crazy as we expected.
Have you been considering picking up the Profile Racing Z-Coaster freecoaster hub, but you were hoping for more color options? Well, you’re in luck because Profile Racing have added a few more splashes of color to their line up. You can now pick up this freecoaster hub in black, polished, purple, aqua, blue, red, green and gold through all BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Profile Racing for around $359.99 now! Looks good to us!
Here’s some good news for those of you who aren’t into running 25-tooth sprockets. Profile Racing are now offering their 18 year anniversary Blackjack Sprocket in 28 and 30 tooth options after getting a ton of requests for them. Can’t go wrong with a classic BMX Sprocket like this one, that’s for sure!

It’s always pretty crazy seeing where BMX pops up these days. We just saw over on the Profile Racing website this new print ad for Toyota featuring their new Tundra truck and Mike Saavedra hucking a big front flip tuck no hander into a lake over it! This ad is appearing in Sports Illustrated and ESPN’s magazine… Pretty wild. Check out another shot of Mike stretching a big old superman seat grab over the truck below!

“Most of the time when Grant asks you to film something, his description is so complex and confusing that you hope he doesn’t pull it first try so you can figure out what the hell he is talking about. This edit is no different and has its fair share of “rewind and watch again” clips. In addition to his usual tech-wizardry, there is a bunch of spot usage in here that only Grant could figure out. Last month, some of the Profile Racing team made their way out to California to cruise pools, trails, skateparks and street spots. Here’s a rad BMX video from the trip featuring the team, along with a handful of friends, getting down at those spots. All in all, great video with a good mix of riding, styles and spots.
