It’s always pretty crazy seeing where BMX pops up these days. We just saw over on the Profile Racing website this new print ad for Toyota featuring their new Tundra truck and Mike Saavedra hucking a big front flip tuck no hander into a lake over it! This ad is appearing in Sports Illustrated and ESPN’s magazine… Pretty wild. Check out another shot of Mike stretching a big old superman seat grab over the truck below!

“Most of the time when Grant asks you to film something, his description is so complex and confusing that you hope he doesn’t pull it first try so you can figure out what the hell he is talking about. This edit is no different and has its fair share of “rewind and watch again” clips. In addition to his usual tech-wizardry, there is a bunch of spot usage in here that only Grant could figure out. Last month, some of the Profile Racing team made their way out to California to cruise pools, trails, skateparks and street spots. Here’s a rad BMX video from the trip featuring the team, along with a handful of friends, getting down at those spots. All in all, great video with a good mix of riding, styles and spots. Here’s some news some of you older guys will be pumped on! Profile Racing have re-released the classic Blackjack Sprocket in a 25-tooth version to celebrate its 18th anniversary since its original relase. This sprocket is CNC machined in Florida out of 6061 aluminum that is anodized black, an then post-production machined to give it the polished details.
What’s even better? They have released the sprocket at the same price that they released the original one at in 1998! $44.99. These are very limited edition, so if you’re trying to get one, hit up your local BMX shop or favorite mail-order and tell them you want one. We’re always stoked to see a product that you can really see the hand crafted work that goes into it. Profile Racing got a fresh batch of their Hide seats in stock and we figured ti would be rad to take a closer look. They have four new seats that were hand made by James Covington at Native Bikes out of real leather. These limited edition seats come in Dark brown with a Gold printed “Wing P” logo, Dark brown with an embossed “Wing P” logo, Lime with a black printed “Wing P” logo and light brown with an embossed “Wing P” logo. Due to it being hand-finished, each seat is a little different and you may even find some small imperfections. The logos even start to look better once you have worn them in as well.
