Ryan Nyquist letting go!
Haha, this is great. Ryan Nyquist got creative at the Vans Kill the Line contest this past weekend!
“BMX legend Ryan Nyquist didn’t disappoint the French BMX fans on his 1st ever visit to VANS Kill the Line last weekend. At the Peynier trails he entertained a massive crowd with an even crazier trick attempt right after the finals on Sunday: A tree60 nose bonk to barspin and he pulled it. The pine woods finally make sense now!”
The 2014 Vans Kill The Line contest in Peynier, France is just a month away! Check this promo video with footage from last few years and some words from guys like Chris Doyle and Ryan Nyquist then get psyched! Full details below!
“On the 30th & 31st of August 2014 Europe’s most infamous BMX contest Vans Kill the Line returns to the legendary Peynier trails in the South of France. For the sixth consecutive time the world’s best dirt riders will gather in the pine woods for the probably most laid-back contest of the season: Mike ‘Hucker’ Clark, Chris Doyle, Ryan Nyquist, Daniel Sandoval, Anthony Napolitan, Corey Bohan, Leandro Moreira, Paul Langlands, Justin Fouque and Markus Hampl definitely among them.
A weekend packed with top-notch bike action, a ‘best train’ comp, a BBQ, an after-party and the smell of endless summer vacation is hosted by the French BMX legends Alex Dropsy, Bibi, Berenger Cordier and their Peynier BMX crew. Could it get any better? Absolutely! Spectators are welcome to witness the international BMX legends and local heroes for free.

It’s hard to believe that Ryan Nyquist has down time. However, when he does, you can probably find him cruising some of the local spots around Santa Cruz! Aaron Nardi caught up with him to spend a day cruising some trails and parks that Ryan rides when he can!

“The BMX Park final was stacked with a list of riders from all over the world, bringing the heat to the beaches of Ocean City. Look out for the Aussies Logan Martin, Kyle Baldock and Andy Buckworth; young guns Tyler Fernengel and Mike Varga; and Dew Tour veterans Ryan Nyquist and Dennis Enarson. ”
Here’s some gold we spotted on Can You Dig It from the first stop of the Dig and Destroy series! Metallica + some dialed trails riding = awesome.
