Reed Stark – Safari: Simple Session 2016

October 13, 2016

It looks like Reed Stark has been sitting on a bunch of footage from his world tour. Here’s some older footage from his time in Estonia during Simple Session last year. This has riding footage, party footage, swinging off buildings footage and more. Check it out!

“If you ride BMX or skate, Simple Session might be one of the craziest events you could find yourself at. Action sports hoggs from all around the world meet in Tallinn, Estonia to party for the weekend. You ride for a couple minutes as well, but that’s not too important. Here’s some footage from last year’s event. Huge thanks to the Visit Estonia employees for all the wild extracurriculars.

The dates for Simple Session 2017 were just released and it’s poppin off February 4-5 in Saku Arena. Mark your calendars.”

Artem Agarkov – First Time at Simple Session

June 14, 2016

There’s no denying that Simple Session in Tallinn, Estonia is one of the biggest BMX events of the year that riders from all around the world look forward to. Thanks to how much the event has grown in the past 16 years, it’s definitely a destination that most riders dream of making it to. Artem Agarkov had the chance to go to Estonia from Russia for the contest this year for the first time. Above is a video where he talks about his time in Tallinn and how crazy the experience was for him. Despite things not quite going as planned, it looks like it was still a good time!

“Simple Session happened about a month ago, but our memories and impressions are fresh in our minds, like we just witnessed this international event yesterday. Artem Agarkov will tell us in this interview (Вмхашка translated it into English) whats it’s like to be at an event that big, and to compete against some of the best riders in the world.

Simple Session 2016 Crash Compilation

May 3, 2016

When a contest like Simple Session goes down with tons of people watching all over the world, riders are going to push their limits… And when that happens, the crashes really start coming out. Ride BMX put together this compilation of crashes they collected over the course of the weekend. Some not so bad, some super painful. Take a look!

“I made a similar video when I was at Simple Session in 2014 and my explanation for doing so really remains the same… “LOL to making a wrecks video, but if you hit you W and then you hit Q in Final Cut, you can put clips on a separate timeline just incase you want to use some crash clips in your prelims video. When it’s all said and done, you can just grab all those damn Q clips, drag ’em to a new timeline, export, type out a dumb paragraph, and now you got a description/excuse.””
