The Source Park – BMX Documentary: Episode 1

Source BMX have begun releasing the documentary that was released a little while back about their location in Hastings, England that has an incredible backstory. The undertaking of converting an abandoned building that once acted as a swimming pool and ice rink, and even a skatepark at one point, then sat empty for years.

Episode one has the backstory of the building, along with a look at the initial starting of what has become Source BMX’s base of operations and one of the best indoor parks around the world, along with the backstory on the owners, Marc and Richard Moore.

This is a super interesting watch, so hit play and take it all in! Keep an eye out for episode 2 that we imagine will be online sooner than later.

“The Source Park / BMX / Documentary / Episode 1

Over the course of two years, this story follows two brothers, Marc and Richard Moore during a huge restoration project based in the East Sussex coastal town of Hastings. Their idea was simple, to build the world’s largest underground skate park underneath the promenade of Hastings seafront inside a space that dates back to the 1800’s and has laid derelict for the past eighteen years.

Vans “The Circle” Videos

Here it is! All ten of the final videos for the Vans “The Circle” video contest have arrived and voting has opened up! This video contest took some of the top BMX shops across Europe from the UK to Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Russia and put them head to head to see who could produce the best video! Each team had up to 6 riders and the winning teams will be going after a nice chunk of money! Check out all of the videos right here! Up top is the Source BMX video, then down below you can find People’s Store (Germany), Il Butta (Italy), Soulcycle (Netherlands), 360BS (Spain), BMX Avenue (France), Bros Bike Store (France), Alan’s BMX (UK), Kunstform (Germany) and Stress BMX (Russia) down below! All of these teams crushed it with their videos, so it’s going to be a surprise to see who won!

Source BMX Battle of the Brands 2020 – Final Results

Source BMX have announced the winner of their first go at the Battle of the Brands to seems to have been a big success! Hit play to see which team between Subrosa, Fiend, BSD and Cult took the win, then check out all the videos again down below! It sounds like we can expect to see another Battle of the Brands next year, so get stoked for that!

Cult – Source BMX Battle of the Brands Riding Video

Cult loaded up Dakota Roche, Chase DeHart, Corey Walsh and Brandon Begin for the Source BMX Battle of the Brands video contest. Here’s the video we’re sure a bunch of people have been waiting for giving us a look at what they stacked for riding footage while cruising spots all around Los Angeles. The Fiend team stuck to sunny San Diego in Southern California for their Source BMX Battle of the Brands video! Garrett Reynolds, Colin Varanyak, Matt Closson and Johnny Raekes loaded up the van to cruise street spots and parks around the area, knocking off challenges and throwing down plenty of dialed riding on everything they came across. Source BMX have released BSD‘s riding video for the Battle of the Brands video contest! These guys managed to film a full-length video with some heavy Props influence as they bounced around Edinburgh, Glosgow and Dundee knocking off challenges and spots. The Subrosa team went to work around New York and New Jersey for the Source BMX Battle of the Brands video contest! Here’s their riding video from the contest which is just under 8 minutes of goodness featuring Mark Burnett, Jabe Jones, Matt Ray and Lewis Colascione going to work on street spots, parks, trails and more. You already know these guys produced!
