Simple Session 2018 BMX Finals Highlights

Check out all the madness that went down during Simple Session 2018 BMX finals!

Earlier today, the top 12 riders to qualify for each the finals in BMX Park and BMX street for Simple Session 2018 made their way out to the course to throw down to see who could take the top spot. At the end, Garrett Reynolds took first in BMX street and Jose Torres took first in BMX park! Check out a bunch of highlight videos below to see all the action! Last summer, Drew Bezanson blew out his ACL during the X Games. Since then, he’s been under the knife for surgery and doing a ton of Physical Therapy to get himself back to 100% and more. It’s that time of the year again when a bunch of riders commence on Tallinn, Estonia for the annual Simple Session contest! As expected, there are plenty of cameras on the course, so all the action will be highly documented! Here’s a look at not one, not two, but THREE highlight videos from the first day of practice for your viewing pleasure. As expected, plenty of real solid riding going down, a bunch of slams and plenty of laughs. Oh, and a little bit of hockey for good measure…

Tony Hamlin Retires as a Pro BMX Rider

Tony Hamlin has decided to retire from being a professional BMX rider…

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming… Tony Hamlin has decided to retire from being a Professional BMX rider, stepping down from the Kink Pro team. Tony has an interview over on Vital BMX discussing his decision to retire to focus on other things like his new career as a heavy equipment operator. Although Tony has retired, it sounds like we’ll still be seeing his name pop up on a few more Kink trips and he will definitely continue to ride and talk a lot of shit like always!

Hopefully this means we’ll get one more badass retirement video like the Darryl Tocco Final Pro Video Part!

Over the past few years, we’ve learned that Irek Rizaev is a serious machine on a bike with a super deep bag of tricks that he loves to unleash on some ramps. As many of you know by now, Alex Nikulin is an absolute machine on a BMX bike with a deep bag of tricks filled with flips, whips, spins and much, much more. Alex recently spent some time at Woodward West and he went to work absolutely crushing the ramps! Check out what he cooked up for clips during his time there!
