Vans BMX Pro Cup Huntington Beach – High Air Contest

As you probably heard by now if you have been following the Vans BMX Pro Cup, the high air contest winner was Larry Edgar who pretty much maxed out the height bar and shut things down for the win. That doesn’t mean it was an easy win for Larry because Chris James and Pat Casey both wanted to push things as far as they could, too! Below is a highlight video showing you how things went down… or up… Yeah, how things went up!

“So if you’re familiar with the high air event at any of these Vans events, you basically know that it’s a battle between Tom Dugan and Larry Edgar. Well, Tom broke his hand in qualifying. So it was basically Larry’s to lose in a sense, but even with Chris James and Pat Casey gunning for him, Larry put on one hell of a show. FloriDeah – Riding The Mt. Baldy Full Pipe

Trey Jones coming through with a fresh FloriDeah video giving us a look at what he got into when he took a trip with a few others to the Mt. Baldy Full Pipe between sessions at the Vans BMX Pro Cup. This is more about the adventure to and from the place than the riding, but it still has plenty of riding from the crews session on the iconic spot. Check it!

Odyssey VS Sunday – VX Edit #2

The Odyssey and Sunday Bikes teams have been busy putting in work on spots around Providence, Rhode Island for the Odyssey VS Sunday project. Here’s a look at the 2nd VX video that features most of the guys putting in work on spots. 3D Printed BMX Sprocket?

When 3D Printing started popping up, the idea of creating BMX parts from 3D Printing has always been something people have talked about doing. George French has played around with it for a while now and has done a number of things as prototypes to test out ideas, and we know Harry at Wethepeople and Eclat also does rough prototype samples through 3D printing. Even though it’s doable to create 3D printed parts, the cost of producing it is still too high. In recent years, the price of 3D printers has come down and it has opened things up a bit to a lot more people and it looks like Jonny Lee has decided to start playing around with doing some BMX parts. Here’s a look at his first creation, a 3D printed BMX sprocket that he printed and put on his bike and rode! Take a peek. It sounds like we’ll be seeing more of Jonny’s creations in the near future, so we’ll keep you posted!

Demolition Parts 2017 Alleyway Jam

The other weekend Demolition Parts threw a jam behind their warehouse in their back alley with ramps, giveaways, pizza and more for everyone to come out and enjoy. “The Demolition Alleyway Jam went down right before the Vans US Open in Huntington Beach, CA and had the who’s who of BMX there in attendance riding, hanging out and playing ping pong. Young and old riders came to shred the ledges, rails, box jump and quarters. All the proof of the amazing day is in this video.
