What Frame Do You Ride? (U.S Survey)

Want to help Jeff With Glasses out with a college project he’s working on? It’s really easy actually. If you’re in the United States, hit this SURVEY and answer a few quick questions about the frame you ride, and what frame you would choose to ride if you were to buy another. I took the survey and it literally took about a minute to complete! Really easy and it’ll be really interesting to see the results once it’s all done! “Is there a common geographical relationship between BMX riders and their frame manufacturer? Are BMX riders buying from their local brand? A study is being conducted by Jeff (With Glasses) Ludwig at the College of Science and Mathematics at Montclair State University to determine how connected we are as BMX riders to our local frame brands. The information that you provide will contribute to a dataset that will be utilized in the study. Participants will also be given the chance to be entered in a randomized drawing for $100 VISA gift card. Two winners will be selected. The survey has a total of 10 questions and asks for your Instagram handle or email address for the contest. Your information will not be distributed or sold to anyone.

Let’s take a look at the new Kink Eastman Full Guard Sprocket!

Is it time for a new BMX sprocket? The guys over at Kink have released their new Eastman full guard sprocket for you to check out! This sprocket is fully CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with multiple cut outs for a unique look and weight savings, crank arm reliefs to allow compatibility with all BMX cranks, 2 rotation positions to get extended use out of the sprocket and laser etched logos. The Eastman sprocket is 12.5mm thick at the guard and 8mm thick at the bore hole in the center, is compatible with 19mm, 22mm and 24mm spindles, comes in 25 and 28-tooth sizes, colors of matte black, matte Nightshade and silver with a weight of 5.3 oz. (25 tooth).

Matt Nordstrom Pro Part

It has been a minute since Ride BMX dropped a new Pro Part video, but that changes today! Here’s a look at a super dialed video featuring Matt Nordstrom going to work on spots, sending huge crankflip and barspin combos with plenty of grinds and freecoaster action mixed in for good measure. Anthony Panza – Barn Ramp Session

Anthony Panza coming through with a new one for your viewing pleasure. This time around, thanks to the cold weather and snow storm, he loaded up with a few others to cruise a rad ramp setup inside of a barn! Here’s a look at what everyone threw down during the session. It might have been a little chilly, but it was a hell of a lot better than trying to ride outside. Plus, this place looks super fun to ride! Check it!

“Weather has been frigid, and a winter snow storm was headed our way. We (myself, Jonny, Jason, and Austin) decided to try and escape the cold by riding indoors, and we went to Massachusetts Didn’t work out how we planned, it was actually colder in the barn then outdoors, but everyone still had a great time. Following day we went to New Hampshire’s Rye Airfield skate park, and that was a mess.”

Skworl – Washed Up

It has been a little while since we’ve seen a BMX video out of the Skworl crew up in the Twin Cities area. That doesn’t mean these guys haven’t been out putting in the work, even though a lot of them are working real jobs and hitting that weekend warrior status. This is a mix of footage featuring Lee Mies, Nick Anderson, Eugene Serrato, Cole Nelson, Eric Holley, Boden Berg, Justin Dewitt, Dustin Arendt, Mike Gelle, Chass Uthe, Cody Smiglewski, Seth Smiglewski, Erik Elstran, Deljon Willis, Seth Peterson, Lucas Woodley, Reed Stark, Jacob Mullenix, Phlandus Alexander, Jake Demuth and Ben Austin, getting down at a bunch of skateparks and street spots this past summer. John “Luc-E” Englebert – “Chasing The View Off The Cliff” Section

Snakebite coming through with another section from the “Chasing The View Off The Cliff” video for your viewing pleasure! This time around we get John “Luc-E” Englebert‘s section that might throw a few of you off a bit! Luc-E is known for his crazy flatland and street hybrid style, with inventions like the Luc-E grind. However, in 1994 he was crushing it on ramps and dirt jumps and this section gives you a look at this. Other than a few grinds on the coping of a ramp, there isn’t much for peg action, but it’s pretty amazing seeing this section versus something like his Neighborhood Superheroes section that he’s more known for.
