Billy Perry – GoPro BMX Trails Session on Long Island

October 27, 2015

It’s not all too often we see some footage of Billy Perry riding trails, but based off this BMX video from a session he caught at the Boondocks, it’s safe to say he can hold his own and we wouldn’t mind seeing more of it. Take a few laps with Billy as he straps a GoPro on and sends it!

“I headed over to the Boondocks Trails on Long Island, NY for the 2015 Octoberfest jam. I don’t ride trails too often due to not having the most ideal trail bike setup with a free coaster, 4 pegs, and no brakes, but I tried to hit a couple of the easier lines with the GoPro on. Hope you enjoy!

Filmed with a GoPro Hero 3+ with a helmet mount, and chest mount.

Featuring BMX riders Billy Perry and Jon Nemecek”

One Night at the Nitro Circus

October 26, 2015

Travis Pastrana Nitro Circus

Growing up, the idea of going to the circus consisted of seeing a bunch of wild animals you normally wouldn’t see, crazy acts, full grown adults decked out as clowns and sometimes some cool stuff like motorcycles, cannons and fire. It seems like over the years people have started to crave seeing crazier things thanks to TV and the internet essentially desensitizing them. So, when it comes to entertaining people, it better be pretty damn wild to make it worth while… At least for people who are more into action sports and “adrenaline junkies”.

By now, there’s no denying that you have heard of the Nitro Circus. Between the TV shows and the constant flow of crazy videos popping up on Youtube, it’s hard to miss them. Travis Pastrana has essentially formed this massive crew of crazy people from BMX riders to freestyle motocross, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards and pretty much a few guys who are just crazy enough to send it on whatever they can take a ride on. Since the show took off, they started touring to stadiums around the world doing shows filled with wild riding, never before done’s and a lot of goofy stuff just to see if it could be done or to get peoples reaction. Add in two hype men, one being BMX’s own Andy Zeiss, some loud music and plenty of fire… You’re bound to get people pretty excited…

Demolition Parts – Christian Rigal 2015 Video

October 26, 2015

One thing we know about Christian Rigal is that he puts a lot of pressure on himself to film the best he can and he won’t put out a BMX unless he’s really stoked on it. Today, Demolition Parts released this new video where Christian crushes street spot after street spot with all four of his pegs. This is one BMX video you cannot pass up!

“This year Christian has been working on multiple projects at the same time, and when he came to us with the idea of doing a new Demolition edit also, we were a lil hesitant if he could pull it off or not. When we finally saw the end result, we just about sh*t our pants. The man is a machine on and off his bike. How he came through with such a banger edit is beyond us. For him to get this done and have it this heavy is insane. If you like insane/ original grinds moves and more, you’ll love this one!

Filmed by Doeby Huynh
Additional Filming by Connor Lodes, Greg Micklas, Dan Coller, Corey Martinez, David Grant, Nathan Williams, and Jessie Silva

SE Bikes – Todd Lyons and the Fat Ripper

October 26, 2015

Just when you think BMX is safe from the Fat Tire trend going on in the bigger bikes, Todd Lyons comes rolling through with the new Fat Ripper 26″ from SE Bikes and throws down this new BMX video. Take a look at Todd ripping around on street spots, trails and really anything else he could run over on the bike. Now, the real question is… With bigger BMX tires and those massive BMX rims coming out, could this be the future of BMX?

“BMX Innovations: It’s in our blood. Mix in one part fat, three parts BMX, and a dash of radness, and you have the Fat Ripper: the world’s first-ever high-end BMX fat bike. Built with legendary alloy Floval tubing, a Looptail rear end, and Landing Gear forks, it screams PK Ripper. But add in the 26 x 3.5” tires, 65mm wide rims, and disc brakes, and it’s not like anything you’ve ever seen before.
The Fat Ripper has been in testing, under the microscope for the past nine months. Its creator and SE Brand Manager, Todd Lyons, has been plowing, jumping, bumping, dadonking, and destroying everything in its path. Obstacles and terrain that was previously thought as not ridable can now be ridden. We’re stoked to announce that the Fat Ripper is AVAILABLE NOW. We filmed this edit to show the world exactly what this beast of a bike is capable of. Introducing the 2016 Fat Ripper – Radness defined.
