It’s always a good day when some new Taj Mihelich footage pops up online! Here’s a short but sweet promo Fairdale dropped for their new 26″ dirt jumper bike, the Hareraiser, featuring Taj putting the bike to work in the woods. Sure, this technically this isn’t a “BMX bike”, but Taj sure rides it like one! Take a look!

This fully capable 26” DJ frame is made of 100% 4130 chromoly with a 3/8” axle slot, integrated chain tensioners, BSA 73mm threaded bottom bracket, ultra-short chainstays and a tapered 1-1/8” to 1-1/2” head tube with removable tabs for a traditional BMX-style Gyro.

Designed from the ground up to make the transition between riding a MTB, DJ bike, and BMX as seamless as possible. FSA Orbit headset included with frame.

Jibs For Jon Fundraiser Jam Highlights

The Philly scene came together for Jon Schimpf!

At the end of August Jon Schimpf had a serious accident and has been in the hospital making the long road to recovery. This past weekend the scene in Philadelphia threw a jam to help raise funds for Jon’s medical bills that are piling up. Here’s a highlight video from the day giving us a look at what went down. As expected, there was a good turn out and it looks like it was a real good day from start to finish! Lux BMX Light Up Jindalee Skatepark

The Lux BMX crew busted out the lights for a night session!

There’s something about a night session at your local park with a bunch of lights that makes it feel different. The Lux BMX crew met up at the Jindalee park, set up a bunch of lights and went to work on the ramps. Here’s a raw cut of footage from the productive session that looks like it was a real good time to us.

Here’s another gem that Snakebite BMX just uploaded from the past to enjoy. Here’s Corey Martinez‘s section from the Ride BMX “Drop The Hammer” video that was released back in 2005. This is 3 minutes of pure gold from ramps to street spots. Corey definitely crushed it with this part. What’s awesome is 17 years later and Corey is still crushing it. Check it!

This looks awesome! Matt Closson threw a jam with some DIY ramps and rails this past weekend in Las Vegas, and a ton of heavy hitters made it out for it! Get a look at Tyson Jones-Peni’s signature setup! Yeah, those are disc brakes!

There’s a lot of times a Bike Check will pop up, and they will look super dialed, but there isn’t anything that makes it unique. Well, Tyson Jones-Peni caught our eye with his new video Bike Check from Back Bone BMX! Tyson has been working with Wethepeople and Eclat on a few signature parts, one being his signature Chaos frame. That frame isn’t just some geometry, graphics and colors that Tyson picked, but Tyson managed to get himself DISC BRAKE MOUNTS on his frame. We’re pretty sure this is the first signature frame with disc brakes for a freestyle frame, but we could be wrong. Either way, it’s unique and pretty rad if we may say!
