Alvaro cooked up a bunch of creative and technical lines and combos on a manual pad spot making for a real good watch. Things didn’t quite go to plan for the ender and a great reminder to throw a helmet on when things are getting crazy. Hit play and take a look!

Comeback Kid – Leon Hoppe

It has been a little while since we’ve seen Leon Hoppe throwing down on his bike. It turns out he took some time off, but he’s back on it. Hit play for a fresh batch of clips filmed over the past year or so from street sessions. As always, Leon is a beast and throws down some technical lines filled with grinds, balance and bike control. We imagine we’ll be seeing plenty more from Leon in 2021 now that he’s fired back up.

Leon Hoppe had become a little quieter in the past two years. It was rumored that the radio bike rider was now more interested in standing in the fan section of his favorite football club than on the bike.

Not least because this is currently not possible for known reasons, Leon has been spotted more and more at 20 inches in recent months. Old love just doesn’t rust. Now there is even a new video from him – and lo and behold: Leon has not forgotten anything. Rather, he throws wild double bars around him as always and the head-over-roll still sits like a one. 47 represent and welcome back, bears!

Brad Simms OFF Fit Bike Co.

Brad Simms off Fit Bike Co. after 9 months with the brand.

Update: Fit have deleted their post on Instagram making the announcement.

Here’s some news we didn’t expect to see this morning. Fit Bike Co. released an Instagram post this morning announcing that Brad Simms is off the team. The post which caused quite a bit of reaction was later deleted. The just of it was that it came down to a disagreement between Brad and Fit on their deal, especially after the big year Brad had in 2020 despite everything going on in the world, and ultimately they decided to part ways.

Either way, it’s definitely a bummer to see this happen, but we would imagine it won’t be long before Brad finds a new brand to ride for, and it will give Fit room to bump somebody else up to the Pro team.

Caracas Trails – BMX Freestyle Championship 2021 Highlights

We were wondering when some footage from this one would pop up online! Earlier this month the Caracas Trails held a BMX Freestyle Championship contest to kick the year off right. Here’s a video the Forma BMX and BC Crew guys down in Brazil put together showing all the action that went down. As expected, there was no shortage of bangers that went down on these massive jumps from Leandro Moreira, Mike “Hucker” Clark, Anthony Napolitan, Pat Casey and many, many more. We’re stoked to see contests starting to happen, and it’s safe to say this was a big way to start the year.
