Wethepeople “Perfect Strangers” Trailer

The AM riders out there have been getting a lot of love from their sponsors lately. Wethepeople just dropped a trailer for their “Perfect Strangers” video dropping this week that features some of their AM squad, and a few of their seasoned Pro’s going to work on the streets. 2020 9th Street DIY Skatepark BMX Jam

There haven’t been a ton of jams going off this year, but we’ve seen a handful go down the past few weeks. Here’s a highlight video from the 2020 9th Street DIY Skatepark Jam that went down out in Ohio. It looks like there was a real solid turn out and a ton of great riding that went down. There’s definitely a few tricks we didn’t expect to see in this. It looks like everyone had a real good time (except maybe the guys that took some heavy slams) and they even managed to get Catfish on the mic for a little bit. Take a peek!

Source BMX Battle of the Brands: Cult – Challenges Video

The Source BMX crew have begun uploading the Battle of the Brands Challenges videos! Here’s a look at the first one featuring the Cult team knocking out a ton of challenges. Oddly, this only got them 4th place, so it will be interesting to see what the other teams did to stack the points! There’s also the riding video that’ll be dropping in 5 days, so keep an eye out for that video as well! Josh Betley – Thank You BMX

It’s always a bummer when a rider has to call it quits due to health reasons. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a video out of Josh Betley, and it’s unfortunately due to him developing APMPPE (Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy… thanks Google!) which basically wrecks your vision, which is pretty key to riding BMX. Here’s some footage filmed over the course of 2 years from a few years back that Josh was sitting on until now.

“Hello everybody! My name is Josh Betley and I was a professional bike rider for 10 years. It was the best time of life. Due to the economy, my long time sponsors Felt bikes and Osiris shoes had to end our relationship. I kept riding every day for 2 more years (2013-2015), and this video was filmed in that time frame. Unfortunately I developed an ailment called APMPPE, which has since severally damaged my vision. So, it breaks my heart to say this, but this is unfortunately my last BMX video.
