Vans BMX Street Invitational 2016 – First Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it looks like Chad Kerley, Nathan Williams, Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Calvin Kosovich, Corey Martinez, Alex Donnachie and a few others have arrived and started cruising the park to see what they can dial in for lines for the contest. “The vibe today was mellow with just over half of the 20 riders set to ride in the first ever Vans BMX Street Invitational on course. And, with a very open practice schedule (a good thing) of 9am-6pm, the dudes were pretty spread out. So I kept it the same and simply put together a quick-hit chronological cut of what I filmed over the four hours I was there. Sorry about the wind noise; apparently my little wind sock can’t handle high-speed lines. But enough of my little excuses…it’s quite obvious that this event is gonna be dope. If you’re within driving distance of Huntington Beach, then you should be at the Vans park this Saturday. So be there…or at least hit us up for full coverage, yeah?” – Ride BMX

Nathan Williams and Corey Martinez – Viva United

It’s always a good day when a new BMX video pops up featuring United‘s Nathan Williams and Corey Martinez. Hit play to get some insight into the trip the crew took from Austin, Texas to Monterrey, Mexico to spend some time cruising around the city, along with a jam with the Prisen BMX Shop locals. Amazing spots, excellent riding, dialed film work. Enjoy!

Remember when the Monster Energy crew rolled through Los Angeles a month or two back and they ended up with the BMX Day 2016 #BEAPARTOFIT promo? Dan’s Comp – Parking Lot Jam 2016 Highlights

The annual Dan’s Comp Parking Lot Jam went down last weekend and they brought in a bunch of riders from their team, and a few other familiar faces to spend the day riding with everyone that turned out. Above is a highlight reel giving you a look at all the amazing riding that went down throughout the day. Despite a little rain, it looks like they had a good time!

“Deep in the corn fields of Indiana lies the biggest mail order in BMX, Dan’s Comp. As soon as June rolled in the Dan’s signal was flashed in the sky and riders from across the US came in flocks for the second annual Dan’s Comp Parking Lot Jam. With Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez, Colin Varanyak, Shane Weston, Tony Neyer and Morgan Long at helm for the Dan’s team, plus Austin Augie, Dan Kruk, Zack Gerber, Gremlin, and a ton of locals holding it down, not even a forecast of heavy rain could stop the shred. Scott Towne was on scene giving out cash prizes in a handful of different events, and even hooked up a Vans “Illustrated” premier! I haven’t had this much fun at a jam in a long time.” – Ride BMX

Review: United Bike Co. – “Still United”

By now, there’s a good chance that you have seen United Bike Co.‘s new, long awaited, highly anticipated “Still United” DVD that was a two year long project that was finally released the other week. This project, with Peter Adam taking care of the filming and editing, features Jeff Kocsis, Christian Rigal, Geoff Slattery, Corey Martinez, Alex Valentino, Nathan Williams, along with some of their flow and AM squad from around the world. We got our hands on a copy the other day and have given the video a watch a few times over now, so we figured it would be a good time to give some of you sleeping on the video a little insight into just what “Still United” has to offer! Damn! Watching a rider battle with getting a clip can be real painful. Especially when it’s Corey Martinez working on getting a heavy clip for the United‘s “Still United” video that’s out now! This one is definitely a painful one to watch, that’s for sure.
