Mike “Hucker” Clark Bike Check

There’s a brand new Bike Check up on the Demolition Parts website giving you a closer look at Mike “Hucker” Clark‘s current setup that he’s running along with a handful of photos Joey Cobbs shot while filming for the “From the Ground Up” Oakley video. Demolition also mention that the new tires they’re working on that we spotted a few weeks back are actually Mike’s signature Hammerhead tire that will be available in a dirt and street version in the near future! We’ll keep you posted when we know more about that.

Oakley – From The Ground Up with Mike “Hucker” Clark

Now this is pretty much every trails riders wet dream, haha. Oakley asked Mike “Hucker” Clark if he wanted to use some of their land, along with their skid loader and all their tools to build up a dream set of trails for him and his friends to ride. Obviously Mike took the opportunity and he turned that land into some serious gold. Above and below are two videos giving us a look at what was built. The top video focuses on the backstory and the build, while the second video focuses on the riding. Both kick ass, so hit play and enjoy!

Mike “Hucker” Clark – Building A Dream In Orange County

Here’s a new feature Complex did with Mike “Hucker” Clark talking about how he got into BMX, Sheep Hills, and the new trails spot he designed at Oakley!

““I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for this place,” Mike “Hucker” Clark says of Sheep Hills, a secluded, dusty BMX holy ground located about 40 miles south of Los Angeles. “People come from all around the world just to ride this one spot.”

Clark grew up on these hills, both as a man and as an extreme sports athlete. In fact, it’s where he was first nicknamed “Hucker” for the way he gracelessly launched himself in the air off of jumps. “I was more balls than skill,” he says.

Two decades later, Clark is a full-blown pro and building a BMX legacy of his own, which includes a training facility at Oakley Headquarters in Foothill Ranch.

He’ll always be “Hucker” to the people in Huntington Beach, but the kid from SoCal has certainly come a long way since his days at Sheep Hills. You can check out Clark’s journey in the video above. “Pumped BMX 3” Preview

Here’s some news we’ve been waiting or, for crew at Pumped BMX have been working on the 3rd version of the game that took over BMX riders phones and consoles around the world. The 3rd version will feature 15 of your favorite riders and companies on new courses with an even better playing experience. Not a lot of info has been released as of yet, but you can expect the game to drop this summer. Check out everyone that will be featured below!

Sneak Peek: Demolition Parts – New Tires

If you caught the Josh Clemens Bike Check last week, you already got a look at these new tires that Demolition Parts are working on. There’s not much information, but based off the photos it looks like they’re at least 2.40″ and feature a tread pattern that kind of reminds us of the Odyssey Frequency G flatland tires that have been available for quite a while, just more street friendly. It looks to have a smoother tread pattern with plenty of grooves to give you grip, with what appears to be some light knurling added on the sides for extra traction while turning. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more! Check out two more photos below..

The boys camped out at Winton’s bi-annual Farm Jam event put on by the Frew brothers, embracing a good dose of kiwiana with some sheep shredding, flannelette shirts and whacking off flies in the long drop.
Making a solid finish to their New Zealand trip, all riders hit a bunch of fun different lines on the beautifully crafted dirt jumps at Gorge Rd in Queenstown.
