Adam Hunt Discusses the new Pumped BMX “Trail Boss” Game

Adam Hunt has a new interview talking about the new Pumped BMX “Trail Boss” game he’s currently developing!

A few weeks back we caught wind that Adam Hunt is working on a new BMX game called Pumped BMX “Trail Boss” that we’ve been super curious about. The game is based off the previous three Pumped BMX games, but this time around it’s going to be in 3D versus 2D like the previous games, and completely changes the way the whole game works. The guys at Ride UK caught up with Adam to talk a little bit about the game, what’s different, what to expect and a possible release date. Pumped BMX Announces “Trailboss” Game

It looks like we’re in for a real treat! Adam Hunt (The creator of Pumped BMX) just announced that he is working on a new game called “Trailboss”

If you’re a fan of the Pumped BMX games, then you’re going to be stoked on what’s coming from YeahUs (Parent company of Pumped BMX) / Adam Hunt. It looks like Adam is working on a new game called “TRAILBOSS” that has a similar feel to Pumped BMX, but with a 3D version that adds in turns and different directions that you couldn’t do in Pumped BMX. Below is a few words on the game. It sounds like it’s well into production, but still about a year out… So it’s still a ways out, but at least it’s something to get excited about!

“Trailboss
Yo! I’m making a new game! It’s called Trailboss (at the moment) and it’s a BMX game!

I’ve been pretty secretive in the past while making Pumped BMX 1/2/3, and only announced it pretty late on in development. I thought I’d try something a bit different this time so I’m going to do lots more development posts and updates and instas and all that good stuff. So the screenshot you’re seeing now is super early, no real art, using an old Pumped 3 character (yeah Aitken!) etc. It’s all going to change loads before release.

Trailboss is a 3D BMX game where you ride through sets of trails with twists, turns and obstacles to avoid. It’s hopefully about a year away from being finished, but that’s still totally up in the air, we’re just going to have to see how it goes together! I’ve finished the physics implementation, I’m going to start building lots of levels next year and I’ve (hopefully!) found an artist who is going to start helping me build out the environments.

Behind the Scenes of Pumped BMX

“Pumped BMX 3” Preview

Here’s some news we’ve been waiting or, for crew at Pumped BMX have been working on the 3rd version of the game that took over BMX riders phones and consoles around the world. The 3rd version will feature 15 of your favorite riders and companies on new courses with an even better playing experience. Review: Pumped BMX +

A few weeks ago, Pumped BMX was finally released on a console version that works with X-Box One, Playstation, Wii and PC. After playing Pumped BMX and Pumped BMX 2 on iPhone, we were more than excited to give one of the most addicting video games we’ve played a go on a bigger screen. So, we got our hands on a copy of the X-Box One version and have been working our way through the challenges since. We figured since we have logged a few hours on it now, it would be a good time for a review. Let’s talk about it!

Well, the time has come and the X-Box One an PC version is available NOW with Playstation and Wii coming in the next few days. Get the full scoop below!
