United Bike Co. – 2017 KF22 Complete Bike

We have been hearing more and more about 22″ bikes and it looks like a few brands will be adding a 22″ bike to their line ups for 2017. We caught wind that United have been working with Kye Forte on a signature 22″ bike a little while back, and it looks like it’s finally hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry United worldwide now. Above is a quick promo where Kye talks a little bit about the bike with a few riding clips mixed in for good measure. Here’s a closer look at his brand new 22′ United KF22 2017 Complete bike and some thoughts about the place of 22″ bikes in BMX today. As ever, Kye doesn’t hold back on or off the bike.

As we talked about above, the KF22 complete BMX Bike from United is a 22″ bike. The bike starts out with a 100% 4130 chromoly frame with a 73.75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 12.25″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and 14.1″ chainstay length (slammed). The frame features gusset on the down tube, a tapered top, down and seat tube, tapered chain stays, a Mid bottom bracket and removable brake mounts. The fork is 100% 4130 chromoly with a 1-piece steerer tube and integrated bearing race, tapered legs with angled ends and CNC machined dropouts. The bars are also 100% 4130 chromoly with an 8.75″ rise, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep, 3-degrees of upsweep. These bars feature large dual radius bends to increase the overall strength. The rest of the bike is decked out with United, Revenge and Innova parts from top to bottom!

United Bike Co. – 2017 Valentino Complete Bike

We’ve been absolutely blown away with the 2017 complete BMX Bikes that have been coming out lately. Today, United Bike Co. unveiled their 2017 range of bikes and they did not disappoint! One bike that really caught our eye was the Alex Valentino signature Valentino LHD Freecoaster complete that looks incredibly clean. We figured it would be a good idea to take a closer look and see just what this bike has to offer!

The 2017 Valentino complete starts out with a 100% chromoly frame with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.5″ standover height and 13.25″ chainstay length. You can find features like an integrated head tube, top and downtube gussets, a Mid bottom bracket and removable brake mounts. The fork has a chromoly CNC machined steerer tube with integrated bearing race with tapered 1020 Hi-Tensile steel legs with angled end caps. The bars a 100% 4130 chromoly with a 10″ rise, 30″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 1-degree of upsweep.

The rest of the bike is decked out with United Bike Co. parts for the most part…

We have been seeing 22″ BMX bikes starting to pop up over the course of the past few years, but it looks like things are starting to pick up again. Nathan Williams and Corey Martinez – Viva United

It’s always a good day when a new BMX video pops up featuring United‘s Nathan Williams and Corey Martinez. Hit play to get some insight into the trip the crew took from Austin, Texas to Monterrey, Mexico to spend some time cruising around the city, along with a jam with the Prisen BMX Shop locals. Review: United Bike Co. – “Still United”

By now, there’s a good chance that you have seen United Bike Co.‘s new, long awaited, highly anticipated “Still United” DVD that was a two year long project that was finally released the other week. This project, with Peter Adam taking care of the filming and editing, features Jeff Kocsis, Christian Rigal, Geoff Slattery, Corey Martinez, Alex Valentino, Nathan Williams, along with some of their flow and AM squad from around the world. We got our hands on a copy the other day and have given the video a watch a few times over now, so we figured it would be a good time to give some of you sleeping on the video a little insight into just what “Still United” has to offer!
