Scotty Cranmer – Hamilton Skatepark Session

Scotty Cranmer and Big Boy back at it again. This time they make their way to the Hamilton, New Jersey skatepark for a session! This has plenty of dialed riding, along with a few rough crashes. Check out what went down!

“We finally got to ride Hamilton Skatepark since the last night we were here it was closed for repairs. It was almost 100 degrees out that day and we got straight to riding asap! Big Boy started things of with a Flair Challenge gone wrong! He underestimated the ramp and had a spinal scenario! After that he fired it out and then continued to do some awesome Big Boy originals! I got to riding and picked some difficult lines to do in the park and after my 3rd trick I nearly passed out from heat exhaustion! We had no drinks and were desperate so we decided to leave the skatepark but as we were walking out, the ice-cream man showed up to save the day (and us) After the break I got a flat tire and the session ended for me but Big Boy took over and tricked every ramp in one run! Such a fun day on our BMX’s!”

This bike starts out with a 100% chromoly frame with a 21″ top tube length, 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ standover height and a 13.11″ chainstay length. You can find full chromoly bars with a 9.25″ rise and 29″ width, full chromoly fork with a 1-piece CNC machined steerer tube, tapered legs and 33mm offset 3/8″ dropouts. The rest of the bike is decked out with Fit and Odyssey parts!

We just got a look at the brand new 2017 complete bikes from Stranger and figured it would be a good idea to give you guys a look as well! Above you can find the 2017 Crux and below you can find the 2017 Level, which is available in a cassette version and a freecoaster version! Get the details below!

2017 Crux

The 2017 Crux from Stranger starts out with a full chromoly 20.75″ frame, fork and 8.75″ rise bars. You can find the Caleb Quanbeck signature Quan grips, Stranger Crux 2-piece, 48-spline chromoly cranks with a Primo sealed Mid bottom bracket, Primo pedals, Stranger Crux sealed 36-hole wheels with a right side drive, 9-tooth driver on the back, 2.40″ Stranger Haze tires front and rear. This bike comes with removable brake mounts and 990 brakes with a straight cable and lever.

The 2017 Crux comes in Matte Black only and can be picked up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Stranger worldwide for $569.99.

2017 Level Cassette

Scotty Cranmer – Brigantine Skatepark Session

We’re not quite sure how Scotty Cranmer and the rest of the crew run into so many closed or locked skateparks, but it seems to happen fairly frequently. Here’s the latest video where Scotty, Matty Cranmer, Big Boy and BK make their way to a couple different skateparks, two of which were closed and one that despite not looking that great, lead to a real solid session! Check out what went down!

“We drove an hour and a half to south Jersey to ride this old hand made skatepark but as we pulled up to the place we realized it was fenced off and immediately someone came up to us and asked what we were doing. They said the park was closed because of vandalism.. That sucks. So with no place to ride we now had a choice to make. We started trying to find skateparks in the area on our phone and picked one only to drive 25 minutes to a completely locked and empty skatepark.. What a day! Now instead of quitting we drove to yet another skatepark in Brigantine NJ and finally we got to ride for the day! Big Boy did the lowest flair of his life! Matty Cranmer did some amazing bearskin combos, BK did some tail whip combos, and i had a blast riding my freecoaster at the skatepark and I even did some combos that I’ve never done before! What a day!“
