Karl Hinkley “Aspire Round 2” Video

Here’s a proper Throwback Thursday for you! Karl Hinkey’s “Aspire Round 2” section just surfaced online…

Anyone who has been riding BMX for around 15 years knows about the old Aspire video contests. Riders from all over would submit video parts and the best ones would be picked for the full-length video (Pretty sure it was only on VHS at this time) that came from it. Karl Hinkley ended up with his section he submitted that hasn’t been online, so he uploaded it and it’s a serious throwback that is so awesome to watch. Not only is this packed with a ton of riding we just don’t see anymore, it leaves you guessing what’s coming next from start to finish. We’re pretty sure Karl still does a bunch of these tricks in this video, too! That’s not a bad thing! Enjoy!

Ricky Catanzariti has been given the bump up to the Pro team!

The guys over at Colony BMX hit us up with some good news! They’ve given Ricky Catanzariti the well deserved bump on up to the Pro team! To bring the news, we get a welcome video that’s packed full of heavy nose balance, grind combos and some ridiculously smooth crankflips and barspins. The other week Woodward Riviera Maya invited Garrett Reynolds, Chase Hawk, Kevin Peraza, Van Homan, Kriss Kyle, Anthony Napolitan and Daniel Dhers down to Mexico to spend some time riding the new setup.
