Kink BMX – 2017 Solace III Frame

The 3rd version of Tony Hamlin‘s signature Solace frame from Kink has arrived. The Solace III is made from 100% seamless Sanko 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ standover height and a 13.2″ chainstay length (slammed). You can find an Integrated head tube, gusset on the down tube, internally and externally machined Mid bottom bracket, an integrated seat post clamp, curved bridges and a wide rear end for larger 2.40″ tires and CNC machined 14mm dropouts with integrated chain tensioners.

The 2017 Solace III frame comes in 20″, 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21.15″ top tube lengths with color options of ED black, translucent gold and translucent black with gold splashes and a weight of 4 lbs. 14 oz. (20.5″)

Curved seat and chain stay bridges, along with a wider back end to give you plenty of clearance for 2.40″ tires.

Cult – Sean Ricany Grips

If you were wondering when Sean Ricany‘s signature grips from Cult would be dropping, the answer is now. These grips are made right here in the USA by ODI from their proprietary rubber compound that is super soft. These grips feature a curved rib design with a Cult logo on the end. They are 160mm long with a 32mm diameter and come with nylon 6-6 expanding collet barends. Total BMX – Konrad Szabo 2016 Video

Total BMX coming through with a dialed new BMX video featuring Konrad Szabo putting is big bag of tricks to good use with a bunch of crazy tailwhip and barspins combos on his massive dirt backyard setup! Awesome riding and some dialed film work. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

“Konrad our Hungarian Team rider has worked real hard to get this edit out, after knee surgery kept him off his bike for over a year. It was all filmed on his own dirt jumps that he built in his yard, what a cool setup this is with all that right outside his new home. He is still adding new ramps too, and Tailorland is a work in progress!”

Matt Poteet – This Is BMX

Madera – Taylor Thompson Welcome Video

It’s pretty amazing seeing all this new talent popping up that we didn’t necessarily have on our radar, but definitely do now. Madera have added Taylor Thompson to their flow squad and based off this video, it’s super easy to see why. Scotty Cranmer Progress Update #3

October 24, 2016

The Road2Recovery released the latest update, along with the first photo of Scotty Cranmer we have seen since the accident. It sounds like everything is going as good as they can and he will be making the move from Las Vegas back to New Jersey soon! Check out the full update below!

“This pic was taken yesterday after his neck surgery but before his facial surgery.

Edit: Post Surgery Updated Added 10/25 Scotty just got out of his last scheduled surgery in Las Vegas and everything went as planned. The group of neuro and plastic surgeons teamed up and completed a combined surgery that involved removing pieces from his skull fracture off his brain and repairing fractures to his skull and his nasal cavity to allow for better breathing. Thankfully the initially projected wire mesh procedure was not needed and the doctors were able to make all the repairs with plates and screws.

10/24 Update
We have been blown away by all the support for Scotty and it means so much to him and his family. We released hundreds of shirts and stickers this week which quickly sold out! After R2R and Vans had a meeting today more shirts are on the way and stickers will be back up by the end of today.

After leaving Las Vegas Scott’s insurance coverage will only help him while in NJ so we located the best hospital in the state for his rehab care and he should be transferring via air ambulance later this week. Keep the well wishes coming and make sure to keep an eye on our social media @road2recovery for when shirts will be available. By popular demand we are also going to make youth sizes and XXXL sizes in the next run. The next location of rehab will last 6 – 8 weeks and then Scotty will be attending outpatient rehab to gain motor skills and strength. We thank you for the continued support and look forward to seeing everyone wearing their shirts and showing their stickers #standwithscotty.”
