Subrosa – Comic Con 2016 with Slayer

As you probably heard, Subrosa are doing a collaboration with Slayer! Subrosa’s brand manager, Ryan Sher, recently made a trip out to San Diego for Comic Con where Slayer was playing and had a booth on display that included the bikes! Ryan decided to jump on the VLOG train to give us a look at the trip where he met with the band and pushed the bikes! Not all BMX trips are for riding, but this looks like it was a good time to us!

United Bike Co. – 2017 KF22 Complete Bike

We have been hearing more and more about 22″ bikes and it looks like a few brands will be adding a 22″ bike to their line ups for 2017. We caught wind that United have been working with Kye Forte on a signature 22″ bike a little while back, and it looks like it’s finally hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry United worldwide now. Above is a quick promo where Kye talks a little bit about the bike with a few riding clips mixed in for good measure. Here’s a closer look at his brand new 22′ United KF22 2017 Complete bike and some thoughts about the place of 22″ bikes in BMX today. As ever, Kye doesn’t hold back on or off the bike.

As we talked about above, the KF22 complete BMX Bike from United is a 22″ bike. The bike starts out with a 100% 4130 chromoly frame with a 73.75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 12.25″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and 14.1″ chainstay length (slammed). The frame features gusset on the down tube, a tapered top, down and seat tube, tapered chain stays, a Mid bottom bracket and removable brake mounts. The fork is 100% 4130 chromoly with a 1-piece steerer tube and integrated bearing race, tapered legs with angled ends and CNC machined dropouts. The bars are also 100% 4130 chromoly with an 8.75″ rise, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep, 3-degrees of upsweep. These bars feature large dual radius bends to increase the overall strength. The rest of the bike is decked out with United, Revenge and Innova parts from top to bottom!

Van Doren Invitational 2016 – More Practice Highlights

Things are really starting to heat up at the Van Doren Invitational with things officially kicking off today. Here’s a video Ride BMX dropped giving you a look at some of the action that has been going down so far. You know when some of the most stylish riders and most dialed ramp riders in the world all get together for a big session, things are going to get crazy. We can’t wait to see what goes down in the actual contest!

“The Van Doren Invitational is a contest unlike any other.. Seldom are the worlds best bowl/transition riders summoned to compete in a contest that stresses the importance of general “course flow” and style, as equally or even more important than tricks. Merritt BMX – Day Trips #2: Heat Wave

Merritt coming through with another round of Day Trips clips for your viewing pleasure. This time they loaded up a few of their flow guys for some skatepark and street action despite it being super hot. Not to take away from the other guys in the video, but definitely keep and eye on Casey Starling. After our trip out to New York, we quickly realized this kid is a serious savage. This is loaded up with some real solid riding from start to finish, so take a peek!
