Subrosa Introduces “UTB” Bikes

March 2, 2017

If you’re looking at a bigger bike, Subrosa have just released two new “UTB” bikes for you to check out; the Rixa and Erro. Both bikes are a single speed commuter bike, with a few upgrades to hold up if you were to decide to jump some curbs, hop down a stair set or get a little rough with it. Get the full scoop on both bikes below. These will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Subrosa on March 15th!

Rixa UTB Bike

“The Subrosa Rixa is where we really blur the lines between BMX and road cycling. A cross between both bikes creates a ride that has the strength and agility of a BMX bike with the speed and comfort of a road bike to get across town fast.

With BMX style 4pc handlebars, chromoly 3 pc cranks and wider tires, the Rixa has a more upright position when in the saddle, and the stability to hit up dirt paths, sidewalks and gravel roads. This gives you the ability to take that shortcut on your next commute.”

Available March 15th for $509.99

View full specs and details on the RIXA Bike Here!

Erro UTB Bike

“There is something special about exploring a city on a BMX bike. Looking at each curb cut, rail and crack in the sidewalk. Not as an inconvenience but as a jump, a place to grind, or something to gap over. But sometimes you simply do not have time to take it slow and you need to get from point A to point B fast!

Introducing the Subrosa Erro, a new style of bike that blends the feeling of BMX with the ability to travel farther and faster in comfort, ripping over all terrain, takin’ shortcuts and cuttin’ corners to get there fast and smooth.”

Available March 15th for $479.99

Haro Bikes – 2018 Mirra Pro Tribute Bike

February 23, 2017

The first look at the 2018 Mirra Pro Tribute Bike from Haro Bikes!

Haro Bikes 2018 Mirra Pro Tribute Bike BMX

Here’s one we’ve been waiting to see! Haro Bikes have just released details on the Dave Mirra 2018 Mirra Pro Tribute bike that they have been working on! This bike turned out absolutely phenomenal and Haro did such an amazing job with the details on this bike. You can get more info on the bike below!

“There are no two ways about it: Dave Mirra was the spark that revitalized Haro in the mid 1990s. Gone were the days of Bob Haro and Ron Wilkerson behind the brand’s direction — it was now Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist designing complete bikes that were affordable, high quality and available worldwide to a new legion of BMX fans. A few years later, the X Games hit, and suddenly, Dave Mirra’s signature Haro was on every TV screen of an ESPN subscriber, and demand for his signature bikes and components sky rocketed.

Mirra remained an esteemed member of the Haro team through the end of 2006, and then started his own brand, Mirraco, for the remainder of his BMX career. But the majority of Mirra’s accomplishments at the top of the sport were done on a signature Haro, and it’s where most of us remember him best.

Now, to honor Dave Mirra, Haro is releasing a 2017 tribute Dave Mirra bike, with a bulk of the sales proceeds going directly to the Mirra family. It is but one more way for BMX to continually honor the life, legacy and greatness of Dave Mirra, and all that he gave to his family, friends and BMX as a whole. And it’s proof positive that the memory of Dave Mirra will remain with all of us for a long time to come.”

The 2018 Mirra Pro Tribute Bike comes in 20.5″ only, weighs in at 26.5 lbs. and has a $799.99 price tag.

You can learn more about this bike on the Haro Bikes website.

The Most Expensive Complete BMX Bike For 2017?

January 18, 2017

Last year we decided to figure out what the most expensive complete Freestyle BMX Bike was for 2016 and it was pretty interesting to see just how much bang you could get for your buck. Now that pretty much all the main BMX brands have their 2017 Complete Bikes available, we figured it would be a good time to do a little research and figure out just who has the most expensive complete bike!
