April 26, 2016

All photos by David Pardo

It’s been a little while since we’ve caught up with Daniel Penafiel, so we figured it would be a good time to hit him up and see what was new. It turns out that he just built up a brand new bike decked out with a ton of prototype parts from Mutant Bikes including the latest version of his signature Tizona frame and bars. We figured that was a perfect excuse to do a brand new Bike Check to take a closer look at his current bike and find out what else is new with him! Ready? Let’s do this!

Emil Eriksson – Mythical

April 25, 2016

Emil Eriksson is one of those riders that we would classify as super under rated. Emil has been crushing it for years for brands like The Shadow Conspiracy and he’s progressed and continued to push himself the whole time. Here’s a 7 minute compilation of footage featuring him slaying spot after spot all around the world. This is one of those BMX videos we HIGHLY suggest you watch. So good.

“This is a collection of Emil Eriksson’s favorite DV footage made into a whole new video. This video was never supposed to end up online as it’s been more of a personal project rather than something for Emil’s sponsors but a lot of people have been asking about it so here it is. The ”Mythical” video is the result of 100% bmx passion and contains old and new clips filmed at famous spots all over the world. Press play now and enjoy 7 minutes full of hammers!”

Ben Thompson Interview

April 20, 2016

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted up an interview, so we figured it would be a good time to get back on top of that. The other day, Ben Thompson‘s new Colony video dropped online and we were blown away by his crazy technical combos and balance that he was throwing down at his local skatepark down in Australia. We were curious as to just who Ben is, so we hit him with some questions to get to know him a little bit better. Let’s take a look at what he had to say along with a re-up of that crazy video!

We’re so pumped on this. Mutiny Bikes have given their Australian connect, Dylan Lewis the very well deserved bump up to the Pro team! Above is his official welcome video that’s packed full of some seriously phenomenal riding to make the announcement. We’re not quite sure how the hell Dylan goes so big, but we love it. We’re currently working with Dylan on a bike check, so keep an eye out for that soon, too.

“We are excited to announce that Australia’s very own Dylan Lewis, has got the bump to our pro team for 2016. We’re looking forward to bringing Dylan out to the states this summer to hit up a few events and visit Camp Woodward.
In the mean time sit down and watch Dylan roast every transition he can find!”
