Well, here I am sitting here at the McCarran airport at 5:24 a.m waiting on my flight back to Minnesota so I can make it back in time for a family reunion. I’m sitting here thinking where the hell the last couple of days have gone. How did I not collapse in the process of running around to the booths, o.d’ing on information and photos, then running and uploading them for you guys to check out? I don’t know, but I survived and I’m real psyched that so many people were down to check out what I had going on. I can’t even begin to express my appreciation for everyone who has come through to take a look at what I posted up and the people linking to it.
A huge thank you to everyone.
There were definitely a lot of trends I noticed this year that seemed to be comforting in a sense. Let me sum up a few things I noticed. Frame and part weights have seemed to rebound a bit with brands starting to bulk up on parts where they weren’t strong enough. They are finally able to balance out what works and what doesn’t and that means stronger, longer lasting products. Seat tube heights are coming back up so the scooter trend appears to be going away. There was a push for brakes from a few brands this year which, from actually talking to a few shops, is in fact starting to come back a bit. There wasn’t a lot of brands into the idea of 9″ rise bars, so I’m going out on a limb and saying it will hopefully be a short lived trend. I think everyone was really focused on creating realistic products that served purpose over trends. The final trend I noticed was the whacky colors were toned down a fair amount this year and replaced with the classics like chrome, silver and black.
Below you can find links to every single booth I hit this year incase you missed some. I apologize to any brands that were at Interbike and I didn’t have a chance to cover. It’s a one man operation so I had to move as quick as possible to get what I could done.

That’s 45 brands that were covered at Interbike. Something like 1,182 photos. Yeah… that’s a lot of stuff to get done in 3 days. I’ve also got another goodie coming from Interbike in the next day or so that I think a lot of people will have a few words about…
Thank you again for taking the time to check this out. I appreciate it huge. Until next year, Interbike!
